7^th DAY OF LENT – FASTING/FEASTING FOR THE NEW GOLDEN AGE

(These devotionals may be best understood by reading them in order)

A Light for my Path

As we read through the Old Testament, two things become clear:  Earth humans have made mistakes during our many incarnations on the plane of duality – and – there has never been a time when Celestial Beings and our galactic family were not watching over and attempting to guide us.  We have experienced lifetimes in which we were very receptive to Divine Guidance and lifetimes in which we choose to walk alone.

A part of our learning process on the plane of duality is that we experience the polar opposites:  good – walking with God, and evil – walking in feigned separation from God.  The goals are twofold:  that we learn from our mistakes and that we truly comprehend the Laws that rule this Universe.

Religions have taught us that we are sinners and speak that word with such severe condemnation that many become emotionally and intellectually immobile with fear of the punishment that surely must come.  According to the particular religion, there are prescribed formulas of behavior for seeking forgiveness of sins.  Either way, we end up thinking less of our self … we accept the condemnation and seldom question it.

The metaphysical meaning of the Hebrew word for “sin” is “missing the mark, falling short of the divine law.[i]   In other words, we made a mistake.  Making a mistake is normal during the learning process.  In school, we may make a mistake on an exam and thus, make a lower grade than we had hoped; but, the teacher does not hold a grudge against us or condemn us to punishment.  We disappointed our self by making the mistake and we—on our own volition—may determine to make fewer mistakes on the next exam.  The pace of our scholastic growth is in our hands alone.   Teachers and parents may offer guidance, but we alone make the decision to improve … to learn from our mistakes.  No one can force us to learn.

The metaphysical definition of sin goes on to define divine law – “The divine law is the law of God, the law of Being; it is the underlying principle of every [one’s] being and of the universe.  Sin is a departure from the law of our being.” [ii]

Divine or Universal Law tells us how God’s Creation works.  When we behave in ways that are contrary to these Universal Laws, we have sinned, missed the mark, made a mistake.

Let’s go back to our school house example.  Universal Law states that for every action there will be a reaction.   So when we use our God-given gift of freewill[iii] to choose not to study for an exam, we set in motion a matching reaction—making a low grade on the exam.   The goal of experiencing the unfolding of this Universal Law is that we learn how the Universal Law operates.  There is no Divine judgment or condemnation to punishment.  Mother/Father God simply allows us to experience the results of our choice.

Another Universal Law is “we reap what we sow.”  When we plant a pansy seed, we expect to enjoy a lovely pansy.  It would never occur to us to consider planting a pansy seed and expect a rose bush.  Yet, we may speak harshly to another individual, then feel shock when someone speaks harshly to us.  We forget that we planted a “speak-to-me-harshly seed.”

We find Jesus quoting this Universal Law in Matthew 26:52 while he is being arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Jesus speaks to one of those with him:  “Put your sword back in its place; for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.”

 Even though it may be several lifetimes later, all freewill choices of a negative or hurtful nature that we make in this lifetime invokes the Universal Law:  we reap what we sow.  It is never God punishing us … it is always the Universal Law returning the harvest that our actions dictated.  God has no need to forgive us … instead, Mother/Father God continues to love us unconditionally while we learn how Divine/Universal Law works.

On this 7^th day of Lent, may we “fast” from thinking of ourselves as sinners needing God’s forgiveness. 

 May we “feast” on ourselves as students of the Universal/Divine Law.  Sure, we make mistakes, but that is okay.  The goal is to learn from those mistakes so that we grow in our understanding of how Universal Laws unfold in our lives and in all of Creation.  The Law itself is neutral; we determine by our freewill choices how it will manifest in our lives. 

 May we “feast” on the fact that Mother/Father God is never punishing us.  Instead, our Mother/Father God stands by loving us unconditionally while we learn to walk as the child gods that we are!

 May we “feast” upon the knowledge that those of us learning on the plane of duality chose the more difficult and rapid way to advance on our pathway to becoming adult gods and goddesses.  Our spirit brothers and sisters who never incarnated on the plane of duality behold us in amazement.  We have developed a Soul stamina they admire and for which they honor us!

 Frank and I were invited to our first Hanukkah Celebration last night.

The entire place, all of the people were absolutely lighted up with Ascension General Electric!!!!!!

Every soul was awakened and intensely aware of everything that has been happening and that is going to happen.

The days of going to parties and wondering “Gee, what are we going to talk about?” are over.

No matter whom we met or no matter from what walk of life, each individual was fully aware of his/her Godhood—- Jews, Catholics, Baptists, Mediums,… they were all present…. everyone awakened!

Just simply amazing!  To live in a world where people are on the same page is just so startling, and yet everyone is totally aware that what we are experiencing is totally natural.

One man just kept saying “But I AM God.  You are God.  We all are God. ”

As we were driving home, Frank and I were again listening to “Crossing Over.”  When the discussion of the “Doomsday” effect came up, I was reminded that Jesus said “Lo, I am with you, even unto the end of the WORLD.”

Suddenly a light flashed on in my mind:  “The word translated as world  is translated as aeon in the King James Version—- AGE.  Thus, the scripture would read:   “even unto the end of the AGE”  [ii]

What AGE?  The Piscean AGE!!!

.      Robert K. Brown &: Philip W. Comfort’s The New Greek-English Interlinear New Testament translates Matthew 28:20 as:  “And remember, I am with you always, to the END OF THE AGE.”

    Jesus incarnated at the beginning of the Piscean Age … the symbol used for Christians was two fish – the symbol for Pisces.   He called his disciples  fishermen of men.

The Piscean Age is now ending and the Aquarian Age is beginning.  During the Aquarian Age, Jesus and the other Ascended Masters will be with us in a visible way.  The Aquarian Age is an age of perfection—an age free of sorrow.  Jesus spoke of the Aquarian Age in Mark 14:13 – “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you; follow him….”  One of the keys to revealing the hidden wisdom of the Bible is to notice the incongruent statements.  A man carrying a jar of water was unheard of in Biblical times.  Women both drew the water from the well and carried it.  Jesus is referring to the Aquarian Age.  The symbol for Aquarius is the Waterbearer.

The foundation for the Bible is esoteric, or soul-centered, astrology.

Ascended Master Jesus incarnated to show Earth humans the Way to “do the works that I do and, in fact, … do greater works than these.” [ii]

This is the Way of Divine Love.  We are of One Consciousness with Mother/Father God and all of our brothers and sisters throughout the cosmos.  However some of us forgot the Way.  Therefore, advanced Souls come to Earth to show us the Way back home to a world of Unconditional Love.  Because we live within the Consciousness of One, some brothers and sisters living in forgetfulness brings sorrow to those living in Love.

For this reason and this reason only, Jesus incarnated on Earth to awaken us to who we truly are—his sisters and brothers.  He lived out an example of who we are, what we can do, and revealed our identity as Temples of our own indwelling I AM PRESENCE.[iii]

 Sadly, those in powerful religious positions chose to enslave the people in order to retain their power.  They knew that once the people learned their true identity as child gods, they would no longer submit to enslavement.  As a result, the powerful religious leaders developed a set of beliefs[iv] that were to characterize Christianity and to which no deviation would be tolerated.  The punishment for heretical beliefs has ranged from excommunication to a long history of torturous blood shed and death.  This cruel manner of enforcing the same beliefs throughout Christendom has enslaved Christians to this day (2012).

As Earth prepares to ascend from 3^rd dimension where things can be hidden to the 5^th dimension where all is open, all that is hidden will be revealed.[v]  The truth about how religions (not just Christianity) have been used as a means of enslaving the people is presently being revealed.

The Abrahamic religions—Judaism, Christianity, & Islam—have taught a violent God, one who goes to wars, takes revenge, punishes, and behaves in ways that show no resemblance to a Mother/Father God who loves us unconditionally.  Christianity has taught us that God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross to save us from our sins—thereby teaching a God who must kill one son in order to bring himself to forgive his other sons and daughters.  We are even taught that God behaved in this way because he loved us, thereby mixing love with violence in an impossible manner.  Love begets Love.  Violence begets violence.  We see ample proof in our world of how worshipping a violent God has allowed the people to accept violence as normal.  We think nothing of watching a violent movie, playing violent video games, going to war.  We even pray for God to be on our side in a war and against his other children.

Have you ever noticed that Mafia members often wear a cross?  Religious teachings have so messed up our thought processes that we mingle love with violence and think nothing of it.  One minute, we can read the 10 Commandments, including “Thou shall not kill,” and in the next minute enjoy watching a violent movie.  We perceive no contradiction.  Violence has saturated our psyches to the extent of numbing our conscience.

 Violence is now coming to an end on Earth.  Gaia, the great soul whose physical body is Earth, has said, “Enough!  I will tolerate no more violence.”  She has requested permission of the Spiritual Hierarchy to ascend to the 5^th dimension and to shed the 3^rd dimension.  No longer will Earth be home to a 3^rd dimensional plane of duality.

Gaia is inviting all of her inhabitants to ascend with her.  It is our freewill choice whether or not we want to ascend to a dimension where unconditional love is all there is.

As we prepare to do so, giving up old belief systems that include tolerance for violence

is essential.  Jesus came only in love and taught only love.  We must begin to see him as revealing our Mother/Father God of Unconditional Love, not a God inclined to violence and blood sacrifices.

WAYS IN WHICH RELIGION HAS BEEN USED TO ENSLAVE HUMANITY

 “When a large number of people had gathered together so that they trod on one another, Jesus began to say to his disciples first of all, ‘Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.  For there is nothing that is covered that will not be uncovered; and hidden that will not be known.’” [i] 

 PHARISEES:

The “Greek from Hebrew” word translated Pharisee means separatists, literalist.  Pharisees were one of Jewish sects during the time of Jesus that were opposed to him.  Metaphysically, Pharisee represents the individual consciousness that binds humanity to external forms of religion.  The Pharisee does not “know that Truth comes into expression in the consciousness through understanding; [he] seeks a sign in the external realm.  No sign of the presence of Christ can be given to the pharisaical state of mind, for the things of Spirit are spiritually discerned. (Mark 8:11,12)” [ii]

The Pharisees represent the religions of the world.  Although most religions possess a mystical branch,[iii] the bulk of humanity participates in religion by performing external rituals that have little or no in-depth meaning for them.  Obeying external religious rules does not lead to enhanced understanding of our spiritual nature.  In fact, it prevents people from recognizing their true nature as made in the image of Father/Mother God.  This lack of knowledge of who we really are has opened the door for the powerful to manipulate and enslave us.  We readily accept the biblical/religious teachings that we are “dust and to dust you shall return.”  [iv]

JESUS:

Metaphysically, Jesus represents God’s idea of a perfect man/woman—the Real Self of all humanity.[v]  Metaphysicians refer to this Real Self as the Christ Self, the Higher Self.  Jesus demonstrated through the major events of his life the pathway to ascension.[vi]   Each individual must travel this path for him/herself.  There is no magical way to suddenly possess the mind that was in Christ Jesus.  This mind requires the type of self-discipline described in my article entitled “Ascension.” [vii]

******Jesus, as the Divine Idea of the perfect man/woman, is not limited to the Christian religion. [viii]  Instead, this Divine Idea is the goal toward which all of humanity is to aim.  Every human being is divine and will eventually ascend to the higher realms.

Religions have enslaved humanity by not allowing this knowledge of our true identities to be taught. 

 Jesus taught:  “The one who believes in me [in your own indwelling God or I AM PRESENCE] will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these.”  [x]  Jesus recognized all of humanity as his brothers and sisters.

SACRED TEXTS:

All sacred books were written by individuals incarnated in a physical body and living on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality (represented by the Genesis story of the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil).  These sacred texts were written for a variety of reasons, yet each religion appears to accept its sacred texts as the infallible word of God.  The Bible, especially, has undergone many translations from Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, and Latin into the language of specific nations.  The exact equivalent of a word in one language may not exist in another language.  Therefore the translation can easily change the meaning of the text.

The Bible consists of a compilation of many books written by various, often unknown authors.  The books chosen to be included in the Bible were selected by a group of human beings who were far from spiritually advanced.[xi]  Instead, they were Pharisaical in nature.  The Bible is full of contradictions, some of which represent differences in theological perspective.  Still, with all of its human flaws, much hidden wisdom can be found therein.

ENSLAVEMENT:

Those who would enslave the people easily do so by teaching them that the surface, or literal, meaning of the translated  words is the correct meaning.  This results in myriad misinterpretations, which can be used to create fear within the people.   Some examples are:

I.  Hell – Humans can easily be enslaved by teaching them a God who created a place of eternal punishment, called Hell.  Actually, the Aramaic words translated as “hell” in English—gehenna dnoora—refers to the “Valley of Hinnom.”  During the 1^st century C.E., Gehenna dnoora, was the garbage dump for Jerusalem.  Located outside the city, people brought their garbage to Genenna dnoora and burned it.  The Valley of Hinnom was also the place where the Judean king, Ahaz (735-715 B.C.E.) offered sacrifices to idols.  King Ahaz also sent his son to the flames as a human sacrifice to the gods.  As a result of these sacrifices, the valley Gui Hinnom became a Semitic term for hell. [xii]

A.  Enslavement via instilling a fear of death and possibly a penalty of eternity in hell =obedience to the church rules and doctrines/creeds.

B.  Fear of death allows people to be manipulated into all types of behavior, including wars.   The concept of Enemy becomes acceptable, resulting in racism, discrimination, hatred, and violence.

II.  Reincarnation – The word reincarnation is not found in the Bible.  Still, the concept is present and vividly evident for those who read with open minds and who refuse to allow the doctrines of the church to dictate what they can perceive in their reading.[xiii]

A.  Enslavement by withholding knowledge of reincarnation is another way to create fear of death. 

B.  Denied the truth of reincarnation, enslavement = Only one life to live.  With only one life to live, every facet of our lives on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality takes on far more significance than it deserves—only one chance to experience marriage, only one chance to have children, only one chance to fulfill our dreams, on and on………

C.  Denied the truth of reincarnation, enslavement = the opportunity for the power elite to use the false concept of abortion kills babies to occupy the energies of millions while behind the scenes nefarious activities can take place undetected.[xiv]  An excellent example is how the outcome of important political elections can be manipulated by encouraging those who call themselves pro-life to vote for the candidate professing agreement with the pro-lifers.  This candidate may or may not be the best individual to lead a nation.

D.  Denied the truth of reincarnation, enslavement = homo phobia = a means to encourage hatred, discrimination, and violence.  The eternal life of a Soul—who eons ago made the freewill choice to incarnate on Earth’s 3^rd dimensional plane of duality—is characterized by incarnating in both male and female bodies, rich and poor, in a variety of races, and in healthy and physically challenged bodies.  A variety of lifestyles is assumed in order to learn from each experience.  Incarnating in both male and female bodies = the opportunity to evolve into an androgynous being—meaning the Soul has achieved the balance of masculine and feminine energies required to evolve into the likeness and image of our Mother/Father God.  As the Soul works to achieve this balance of energies, it incarnates into male and female bodies in a number of incarnations.  Although Souls live in an atmosphere of Unconditional Love on the inner planes, they develop special affinities to particular Souls.  When these Souls incarnate into physical bodies, they may choose male or female bodies.  The gender of the physical body does not impact the Souls’ love for each other.

As we have seen from past life regressions, our physical bodies carry memories from previous incarnations.  My intuitive sense is that a Soul who has incarnated in the same gender for several lifetimes in a row and then, switches to the opposite gender in the present incarnation may manifest as what we call homosexual for the simple reason his/her cells still carry strong memories of the previous lives.  Cellular memory may also account for the individual feeling she/he is in the wrong body.  Bisexuality can actually indicate a step toward attaining androgyne.

Immeasurable enslavement and suffering have resulted from religions’ refusal to teach the truth of reincarnation.  Past life regressions and the miracles of healing that often occur have proven the extent of the suffering incurred.

From the Soul-level perspective, the gender of the body makes no difference.   There is no judgment!

III.  Born again – a misinterpretation of this extremely popular religious term is used to enslave millions.  Christians are taught that in order to avoid spending eternity in hell, they must be born again.  This represents an example of translators interpreting the Bible in accordance with their religious doctrines.

Let’s look at the story of Nicodemus in John 3.  As a Pharisee, Nicodemus accepted reincarnation for the good souls.[xv]  He had been observing Jesus and was impressed:  “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God.”  Jesus intuitively knows that Nicodemus’ statement is really a question.  He answers the question he perceives.  “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.”

The Greek word used here is gennethe in the passive voice, indicating the subject is acted upon by someone else.  In the passive voice, gennethe means to be born of woman.  The Greek word translated here as again is anothen.  It means both again and from above.  I choose to translate anothen as again based of the passive voice of gennethe.  Thus Jesus’ statement actually reads:  “unless one is born again of woman, he is not able to see the kingdom of God.”  In other words, Nicodemus must reincarnate until he is spiritually mature enough to perform the signs Jesus performed.

Reincarnation is the means by which we evolve in spiritual maturity to the point of ascension to a higher dimension of consciousness.  By religions failing to teach reincarnation, humanity is enslaved to a level of consciousness that does not recognize our innate individual sovereignty.  Instead, Christians are taught that salvation from eternity in hell comes through “Jesus’ blood shed on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.”  Christians are taught to worship Jesus as Redeemer and Savior.  Many sing popular hymns like “Jesus Paid It All.”

To say Jesus paid it all enslaves Christians by preventing individual spiritual evolvement.  Just as a young child must learn to walk on his own, humanity must seek truth and integrate it into our personal lives on our own.  Jesus shows us the Way; he does not do it for us.[xvi]

IV.  Religions enslave by their failure to encourage holistic self-growth, which is the Soul purpose in reincarnating.  Jesus taught that those who believe in him (meaning who believe in their own indwelling God) would do greater works than he did.  Yet the Bible does not teach humanity how to achieve a level of spiritual consciousness that would allow us to do these works.  Religions do not encourage humanity to think in terms of individual growth.  Instead, they teach humanity to be dependent upon the religious authorities to tell them what to believe, what to do, the rituals they are to perform or in which to participate, and to walk in Jesus’ footsteps.  They do not teach individual self worth and being an integral unique part of the overall Divine Plan.  

 Humanity is led into believing it is separate from God and all other parts of Creation.  Humanity is alone with no real purpose in life.  This is the worst type of enslavement—enslavement to meaninglessness!

 During the last five weeks before 12/21/12, I encourage everyone—especially those who are deeply involved in the external religions of Pharisees—to look again at Jesus, the Divine Idea of humanity in perfection.  Then look within yourselves to determine how closely you resemble this Divine Idea.  Are you a sovereign being of Love & Light – OR – are you simply saying, “I have nothing to worry over … I’m saved, I’m a born again Christian.  Jesus did it all for me.”

In truth, no one has anything over which to worry.  All will ascend when they are ready.  On the other hand, Earth has invited every member of the human family to ascend with her in 2012!  The choice is yours.

THE DAY HUMANITY EMBARKS ON ITS SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

FROM ESAU TO JACOB

 From a metaphysical point of view, the biblical story of Esau and Jacob reveals the path of our Soul’s spiritual journey to Ascension.  This story, with its unique details, seems especially relevant the day after America’s 2012 Presidential Elections.

 According to Charles Fillmore, the Hebrew word for Esau means hairy, rough.  Metaphysically, it means the physical body.  Esau represents the immature consciousness that characterizes life on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality.[i]  In the biblical story, Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of pottage.[ii]  Like Esau, we have tended to place satisfaction of our physical passions, appetites, and opinions above seeking to comprehend the Higher, Universal Laws.

A birthright, in the Ancient Near East, gave the eldest son a greater inheritance than the younger sons.[iii]  In selling his birthright, which entitled Esau to a larger inheritance than Jacob, Esau gave up a much more lasting benefit simply to immediately satisfy his physical appetite.  This need for immediate gratification, to have it our way, is a major characteristic of life on the 3^rd dimension.  It leads us into foolish actions that boomerang in our face.

Charles Fillmore gives the meaning of the Hebrew word for Jacob as supplanter, leaving behind, bringing to an end, rewarding.  Metaphysically, it means mentality or understanding.  Jacob represents our I AM identity—the fact that as we seek understanding from our I AM PRESENCE (God indwelling us) through our Higher, Intuitive Mind, we know Truth.[iv]  This knowledge of Truth regarding the Universal Laws is to supplant the physical plane laws and our attempts to gratify physical desires.

Thus, Jacob signifies the Soul’s progression from 3^rd dimension to 5^th dimensional consciousness and living.  Jacob reminds us of the journey we are making during the last months of 2012—the journey to Ascension.

 The Hebrew word for Zion means sunshine, landmark.  Metaphysically, Zion means Love’s Abode within our conscious awareness.  Zion is often associated with Jerusalem.  “In referring to the Holy City—the New Jerusalem—Zion symbolizes spiritual consciousness.” [v]

Mountain symbolizes the higher consciousness attained through meditation as we journey toward full consciousness.  While on the mountaintop (in meditation), we can communicate with higher beings—Earth’s Ascended Masters, our Galactic family, and the Angelic Hosts.  While focused in this higher level of consciousness, we perceive life as it truly is, apart from the illusionary world in which we live on the 3^rd dimension.

Now that we know the hidden wisdom within the above names and places, we can better understand Isaiah’s prophecy in Isaiah 2:2-5.  He speaks of the Soul’s journey from Esau to Jacob.  This is the journey on which Earth humans are embarking on this momentous day of November 7, 2012.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established above the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall look to it.  And many people shall go and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths:  for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.  And he shall judge among the nations, and rebuke many peoples who are far off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles:  nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.  O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.’”

Metaphysical Interpretation:  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that a higher level of consciousness shall be established, i.e. Earth will ascend to a 5^th dimensional consciousness of Love & Light.  All nations shall look to it.  All of Earth’s inhabitants are invited to ascend with her.  And many people shall go and say, ‘Come, let us go to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob;  let us meditate and seek the Truth of higher consciousness.  Let us leave behind the urges to satisfy the passions and physical desires of the 3^rd dimension and supplant them with knowledge of the Universal Laws.  The God of Jacob, I AM[vi]—our indwelling God, will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion, Love’s Abode, shall go forth the Law created in Love and expressing Love.  Knowledge of Universal Law will come forth through our spiritual consciousness.

And I AM shall judge among the nations, and rebuke many peoples who are far off. 

 Knowledge of Universal Law is essential here; otherwise we read this passage to mean God judges and rebukes those who do not seek higher consciousness.  A God of Unconditional, Absolute Love knows only Love, sees only with the eyes of Love, never judges or rebukes us.  Instead, the Universal Law stating “We reap what we sow” is always in effect.  It is this objective Law that judges us by allowing us to harvest whatever we have sown.  When we have sown negative energy, we experience some form of negative response—we are rebuked.  God has absolutely nothing to do with the response … we have simply reaped what we sowed.  If nations and people live far from a higher consciousness and knowledge of Universal Law, then we experience the Law as a rebuke.

As Earth humans gain higher consciousness and knowledge of Universal Law, they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles: nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

 On November 6, 2012, President Obama was re-elected as President of the United States.  According to our off-world sources, Obama is to lead us into the Golden Age.  To do so is his role within the Divine Plan for Earth.

Our role in the Divine Plan is to answer the call:  O house of Jacob … O those of you who choose to ascend and assist in creating the New Earth … come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.  Come, and let us walk—together—in the light of the Universal Law.[vii]

Our role is to drop our 3^rd dimensional ways … lift our consciousness above the political party bickering and stonewalling … come together as One Nation … and work cooperatively in creating a galactic society of Love & Light & Abundance for All People.  We are now in the last few weeks of preparation for Ascension … we have no time for fighting among ourselves.  It is time for us to beat our swords into plowshares, and our spears into sickles: nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.

It is time for all of us to climb the mountain to a higher consciousness … to learn the ways of Universal Law—the Oneness of All of Creation.

WE ARE ONE FAMILY OF GOD!  MAY WE STAND BEHIND PRESIDENT OBAMA AND ASSIST AS HE LEADS US IN CREATING A SOCIETY THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE!

Ascended Master Jesus

Understanding what Jesus meant by the I AM sayings[i] is extremely important because it changes the way we view ourselves in relationship to God.[ii]

We must keep in mind that all sacred texts available to Earth humans were written by people residing on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality.  In addition, what we know as the Bible today has been translated numerous times from Aramaic, Hebrew, Greek, and Latin into our national languages, such as English, French, etc.  As all translators know, words in one language often do not have an equivalent word in another language.  For that reason, much of the original meaning can be lost in translation.  In addition, the meanings of words change as time passes.  The belief system of the translators also influences the choice of words they use in their translation.

As a result, the Bible contains numerous contradictions.  Still many Christians are taught that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and is literally true.  Christians are often taught to “stay in the Word,” meaning not to explore outside sources for answers to their questions about God and life.  “Don’t ask questions or you will lose your faith” is a frequent admonition given by religious leaders.  The reproof itself is an acknowledgement of uncertainty within a very shaky faith.  We do not know what we do not know and for many, this is a frightening fact.

This strong tendency to stay in the box created by religious leaders, creeds, and denominations has resulted in Christians closing their minds to anything new relating to their own spiritual nature.  Christians have feared to explore, to intuit Truth for themselves, and to go against the status que.  In order to remain one of the many, we stifle our true feelings, our questions about life, our innate urge to explore and find Truth for ourselves.  We even read Jesus’ encouragement to “seek and ye shall find” and “the truth will set you free” as if he meant seek only in the Bible and the truth you find there will set you free.  Christians forget that the New Testament did not exist during Jesus’ lifetime.  Any suggestions in the New Testament that we “stay in the Word” or “not change the Word” relate to the Old Testament because that was the only scripture known to the New Testament writers.

Near the end of the 19^th century and into the 20^th, teachers of advanced spiritual maturity began to incarnate to guide Earth humans in exploring metaphysical or hidden wisdom teachings regarding the Truth about God, our world, and ourselves.  Sadly, the churches rejected these teachings as pagan, heretical, and New Age.  What the church really meant is that the hidden wisdom did not conform with orthodox creeds/beliefs.  It feared its adherents would ask questions and lose interest in orthodoxy.  Teachers like Ernest Holmes (Science of Mind), Helen Blavatsky (Theosophy), and Charles Fillmore (Unity) were and are called leaders of cults—words used in a derogatory manner representing the condemnation of many religious authorities even though the teachings of these men and women have added greatly to Earth humans’ understanding of themselves and the laws by which the universe operates.

A.D.K. Luk was among the first to publish the teachings of Earth’s Ascended Masters, such as Ascended Master Kuthumi (formerly incarnated as Pythagoras, then later as St Francis of Assisi), who worked through Helen Blavatsky to form the Theosophical Society.   Ascended Master El Morya (formerly incarnated as Abraham) worked through Mark & Elizabeth Claire Prophet to create Summit University Press for the purpose of teaching and publishing the Ascended Masters’ teachings.  Ascended Master St. Germain (formerly incarnated as the Prophet Samuel and later as Joseph, father of Jesus) worked through America’s Founding Fathers to create a nation based on brotherhood and freedom for all.  I could go on and on with examples of how Earth’s Ascended Masters have assisted their unascended brothers and sisters on this planet as we travel the spiritual path to our own ascension.[iii]

Yet the churches have not possessed or encouraged the development of “eyes to see and ears to hear these hidden wisdom teachings.  This brings us back to the importance of understanding the meaning of the I AM sayings.

Reading the Gospel of John in accordance with Christian teachings, most do not question what they read.  The I AM sayings are found in this gospel, along with repeated statements by Jesus that should alert the reader to delve deeper.  Jesus never proclaimed himself as “The Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

He did repeatedly shift the attention from himself to the Father within.  “The Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.”  John 5:19   “I can do nothing on my own.” John 5:30  “My teaching is not mine but his who sent me.” John 7:16    “The one who sent me is true, and I declare to the world what I have heard from him.” John 8:26    “I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me.” John 8:28b

Not only did Jesus deflect attention from himself to the Father, he taught us:  “I declare what I have seen in the Father’s presence; as for you, you should do what you have heard from the Father.” John 8:38    “I do not seek my own glory…. If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing.  It is my Father who glorifies me.” John 8:50     “The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”  John 14:10

Jesus again speaks to us “the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these.” John 14:12    Jesus expected us to follow his example, NOT worship him.  Christianity teaches that “Jesus did it all.”  As a result, we make no effort to do the works that Jesus did and, in fact, exceed his works.  Christians are taught, instead, to love Jesus as Lord & Savior.  Self-realization is considered “New Age.”  Holistic growth—body, emotions, mind, and spirit—is not a part of Christian teachings.  Self-help books are often off-limits.  Yet, in John 15, Jesus states, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower…  I am the vine, you are the branches.” John 15:1,5    Anyone who has seen a grapevine knows that the main vein is composed of the same substances as the branches—Jesus and all of humanity possess the same potential.  We are to learn to do all the works Jesus did and more.  With the Father as vinegrower, Jesus as the vein, and humanity as the branches, we are All One.

“Then Jesus cried aloud:  ‘Whoever believes in me believes not in me, but in him who sent me.  And whoever sees me sees him who sent me.” John 12:44

Jesus, the man, fully recognized that God dwelled within him, just as God dwells within each of us.  Jesus allowed God to speak through him—what we call channeling in today’s world.

One of the Ascended Masters’ teachings concerns the I AM PRESENCE within each of us.  When Christian religious leaders heard of the 20^th century I AM PRESENCE movement, they pronounced it “New Age” and not in accordance with Christian teachings.  Because religious leaders have ignored the hidden wisdom teachings, they are unaware of the ever-expanding cycles of time.  New Age simply means the beginning of a new 2000 years cycle, just as the 21^st century indicates the beginning of a new 100 years cycle and the New Year signifies the beginning of a new one year cycle.  Whether or not we set out to do so, we end up learning something new during each year and during each century; we are and will be learning much that is new in this New Age of Aquarius.

One of the major lessons will concern who we truly are, as indicated in Elizabeth Claire Prophet’s Divine Self Chart.[iv]

The top figure radiating light outward to the world is the I AM PRESENCE indwelling each of us.

 Jesus taught the Kingdom of God is within you.  Christianity has taught God as separate from us; we have personified God into our image and set him on a throne in heaven.  This personified God is a vengeful, angry God that demanded a blood sacrifice in order to appease his threats to punish us in an eternal hell of fire.   Sadly, in our personification, we have created an image of God that is far less than any of us can imagine being.  Which of us would require the blood sacrifice of one of our children so we, as parents, could bring ourselves to forgive another of our children?

Exodus 3 instructs us as to what Jesus meant when he said, “I AM the way, the truth, and the Life.”

 “Moses was keeping the flock of his father-in-law … he came to Horeb, the mountain of God.  There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of a bush….  When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to see, God called to him out of the bush, ‘Moses, Moses!’ … I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob….  So come, I will send you to Pharoah to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt….’  But Moses said to God, ‘If I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your ancestors has sent me to you, and they ask me, What is his name? what shall I say to them?’  God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM.’  He said further, ‘Thus you shall say to the Israelites, ‘I Am has sent me to you.’”

The Hebrew word horeb means desert or solitude.  Metaphysically, Horeb symbolizes a high place in conscious union with the divine.  In order to contact the Divine, we must enter the solitude of our heart and inner mind where dwells the I AM PRESENCE.[v]

When Jesus spoke the I AM sayings, he was using the name of God, I AM.  I AM is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, not Jesus.   Moses was sent by I AM to the Israelites in Egypt; Jesus was sent by I AM to the Israelites in Palestine.[vi]

In order for us to learn to do all the works that Jesus did, we must go to our inner Mount Horeb and become One with our I AM PRESENCE.  We are not separate from God; God indwells each of us.  I AM is the bread of life, the light of the world, the gate, and the resurrection and the life.

 We are the Temple of I AM!  Through Jesus and through us, I AM is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Many are having a tough time making ends meet during this transition period.  For this reason, I am posting an excerpt from my book A NEW AGE CHRISTIAN:  My Spiritual Journey.

This story of Elijah and the widow is an example of how our present supply can be multiplied.  I have experienced this in my own life; however, it is not something I can explain intellectually.

MEDITATION:  The secret is focusing on your indwelling God (or I AM PRESENCE), instead of  your external world and needs.  Close your eyes and focus your attention on your heart area … visualize your heart as a lovely ethereal temple … know that you carry this holy place within you at all times.  While sitting in your heart temple, know that as God’s Son or Daughter you are abundantly cared for in every way.  You are never alone … your Guardian Angel and spirit guides hover around you … waiting to supply your every need.

We experience lack when we look to the outside world as our source of supply.  Sure, we find supply within our environment, but the Source is our indwelling God.  When we wait on a particular external event or source, we have turned our focus away from God.  We do not know how God will supply, thus to pre-determine the means is to close the door to God’s Plan.

Meditate on Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:25-34.  Our indwelling God knows our needs BEFORE we do and has already supplied them.

Meditate on the words of Jesus in Mark 11:23-24.  The answer to our prayer is ALREADY  DONE.

Meditate on the widow of Zarephath’s experience (excerpt below).  In Hebrew, Zarephath means place of refinement, place of purification.  Even though she and her son are on the verge of physical plane starvation, the widow chooses to share the last of her food with Elijah.  In Hebrew, Elijah means Jehovah is God … metaphysically Elijah  symbolizes the I AM Presence within each of us.  The widow chooses to give her all to her I AM PRESENCE.  As a result of her choice, she and her son never give out of food.

Our role is to LISTEN AND FOLLOW OUR INTUITIVE GUIDANCE.  The widow did not sit down and wait on her supply.  She followed her intuitive guidance—“share what you have.”  She set about mixing the oil and meal … baking the bread … and giving a portion to Elijah.

The endless supply came as a result of her action—the following through on her intuitive guidance.

You and I live in Zarephath—a place of purification and refinement.  We are learning to fulfill our role as co-creator with God.
