PUTIN NUMEROLOGY – RISE OF THE PHILOSOPHER KING

“Vladimir Putin is considered to be the most important geopolitical player in the last 40 years – under his administration, Russia’s profile has risen to a level not seen since the days of the Soviet Union. While many have analyzed Putin’s background from historical sources, I am always interested in the esoteric view and thought it would be informative to see what I could find in Mr. Putin’s numbers.

I work with Numerology professionally and have found it to be 100% percent accurate. Given only two pieces of information, the Birth Name and Date of Birth, a clear personality profile can be calculated, giving insight into one’s motivations, character and innate qualities. More simply put, we can consider numerology to be an archetypal ‘personality test’ that indicates the inner motivations of a person that may not be apparent from publicly available sources….”

I did the same thing with esoteric astrology, which is also a very accurate science revealing the Soul Mission of an individual for the present lifetime.  I also spent a week researching present lifetime evidence of the truth of various elements found in Putin’s natal chart.  You may read it here:  https://pathwaytoascension.wordpress.com/2014/02/22/who-is-vladimir-putin-sabian-symbols-for-vladimir-putin-as-revealed-in-his-astrological-birth-chart/

WHERE ARE YOU, GOD? A Metaphysical Interpretation of the Biblical Book of Job

WHERE ARE YOU, GOD?

A Metaphysical Interpretation of the Biblical Book of Job

Nancy B. Detweiler, M.Ed., M.Div.

http://www.pathwaytoascension.com/chapel/index.htm

INTRODUCTION

For thousands of years the biblical Book of Job has fascinated and puzzled scholars and laypersons. The Book itself offers no clues as to its original source and language, its age, or to its authorship. It could easily be said that the Book of Job has received more praise than any other book ever written. Its message is universal and timeless.

The Book of Job’s appearance within the lives of humanity is as mysterious as its probable author, Melchizedek.1 The unknown author of the New Testament book of Hebrews describes Melchizedek: “Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.”2 Equally mysterious are the layers of symbolism embedded in the Book of Job. Its depths reveal knowledge of the cosmos, esoteric astrology, gematria,3 and ancient mystery religions that is far beyond humanity’s capacity to comprehend at this point in our evolutionary process.

“Job is written in an extremely sophisticated learned Hebrew, with a higher proportion of words unique to itself than any other book of the Hebrew Bible.”4 The Kabbalah teaches that the Hebrew alphabet is alive with mystical meaning and numeric vibrations.5 Ancient Hebrew tradition reveals Melchizedek, King of Salem, taught the Kabbalist Sefer Yetzirah (or Book of Creation) to Abraham.6 If Job was indeed written in Hebrew, its mystical language only adds to the mystery and depths of this ancient classic. If Melchizedek was the author of the Book of Job, we can rest assured that much metaphysical knowledge is embedded therein. Earth humans have not scratched the surface of the hidden wisdom to be found in the Book of Job.

******

Our planet’s emergence into the New Aquarian Age will necessitate the recognition that there is far more to life than our five physical senses reveal. We must begin to view life as it truly is-multi-dimensional. Earth humans represent only one of many species of living, intelligent beings within the cosmos. All of creation is interconnected and influences all contained therein. Life on our planet Earth is a microcosm of the cosmic macrocosm, albeit a much less enlightened version.

As Earth humans awaken to the multi-dimensions in which we live, we find that we can communicate with those residing in various realms of existence. We begin to comprehend our interconnectedness and the vibrant life we all share in common. As we look into the night skies, we behold the stars and planets as the Light Beings that they are. They are among the heavenly hosts mentioned so frequently in the Bible. Know that Earth humans are surrounded by numerous species of beings who long to assist us in building an enlightened civilization upon our planet. Awaken to the fact that Earth humans are aware of only the most miniscule amount of knowledge concerning God’s creation.

The New Aquarian Age and the spiritual awakening that is occurring will require the re-creation of our planetary institutions, the re-writing of our books of knowledge, and the re-thinking of our concepts of life. In the distant past, golden civilizations have existed on our planet. With the Sun’s arrival in the constellation of Aquarius, the next 2,166 years are to be characterized by the re-building of a golden civilization on Planet Earth. The chaos we are presently witnessing is but the destruction that precedes the creation of something better.

******

The sacred texts of our world religions are far more than we suspect. Since I am familiar with the Bible, I will limit my references to it. For thousands of years, we have referred to the Bible as the inspired Word of God. However, our concept of the Bible has been limited by our own spiritual deadness. We study its surface and think we know the Word of God. We have yet to awaken to the tremendous depths within this sacred text. Layer after layer of symbolism is hidden beneath the surface words. The Bible is a living entity that holds, within its depths, knowledge far beyond our present capacity to comprehend.

I experience a slight hint of its immeasurable depths as I attempt to interpret the Book of Job. Job has held lifelong fascination for me. Yet, I am filled with reverence as I realize that I have only scratched at the surface of its true meaning. I am sure others, like Charles Fillmore, Corrine Heline, and Geoffry Hodson-all of whom sought to interpret the Bible metaphysically-experienced the same awe at such depths of meaning. Surface words have led many astray because we lack the wisdom of the Eye of God to see and the attunement to Spirit to hear the inner messages being conveyed to us through this living Word of God.

The New Aquarian Age marks a time in which the Bible is to be interpreted at increasingly deeper levels. Because this living book contains all Truth, we must interpret it by using the broadest spectrum of Truth available to us at this point in time. Its words stretch into infinity. We must approach it with the humility of one who knows how little Earth humans comprehend the vastness of Truth. No longer can we read the surface and believe we have read the Bible. It is time to move beyond the parameters of any one world religion and to integrate the whole of Truth, as we presently know it, into our interpretation of the Bible. We must recognize the presence of a universe of beings who communicate with us in myriad ways. No longer can we dismiss the ancients as those who were less evolved in their knowledge of the universe and the Truth of Being. Viewing Earth humans as the only living beings in the universe is to achieve the heights of ignorance and spiritual blindness. Rejecting the heavenly hosts as figments of the ancients’ imagination is tantamount to putting God in a 6 ft. box and declaring that it contains all there is to know about the Creator of the cosmos.

As you read my interpretation of the Book of Job, I affirm your discovery of the many facets of Truth to be found within the Bible. I have included an Appendix in which you may find a portion of esoteric astrology that may be applied to you, the individual reader. I do so in an effort to personalize Job’s story; for in Truth, Job is Everyone. Both my interpretation and the esoteric astrology reflect reincarnation as the path on which each of our souls awaken to and re-integrate into our daily lives the knowledge of our true identity as a Son or Daughter of God.

I have written Where Are You, God? A Metaphysical Interpretation of Job to be a biblical studies book. The reader will glean much more out of the study by reading the scriptural text along with my interpretation. As you read the Scripture, you are likely to receive insights of your own into the riches of the Book of Job.

Even though the metaphysics included in my interpretation may be unknown to the reader, I encourage you to read with an open mind and the willingness to consider alternative views of life and the spiritual Path.

THE AWAKENED CHRISTIAN

THE AWAKENED CHRISTIAN

Nancy B. Detweiler, M.Ed., M.Div.

awakening2012-2

NOTE: For the purposes of this article, I use the term “Source of our being” to refer to the omnipresent energy of Divine Love in which we live and move and have our being—the Ultimate Source of all creation.

I use the term “Awakened Christian” to mean the one who follows Jesus as A Wayshower on the pathway to individual ascension. Jesus, as a Wayshower, reveals the way; He cannot walk the path for us. The awakened Christian recognizes this fact and strives to tread his/her own pathway to ascension.

***********************************

For seventeen hundred years, the Christian religion has abided by a set of doctrines created by men dedicated to standardizing the acceptable beliefs concerning the nature of the Source of our being and of Jesus. The resulting codified religion leaves little or no room for Christians to seek Truth on their own. Reprimands, accusations of heresy, excommunication, and loss of job, family, and/or friends hover in the shadows ready to pounce on anyone daring to explore our magnificent world by going outside the traditional Christian doctrines. Fear stifles our innate curiosity to learn more about the Source of our being and where we, as humans, fit into the divine scheme of cosmic life.

Christians are taught to read the Bible as the Word of God and to interpret it in accordance with the codified church doctrines. A literal interpretation of the Scriptures results in a multitude of horrifying teachings concerning the nature of our Source and of human beings. Little do we realize that our concept of God and ourselves forms the philosophical foundation for our relationship to each other and to our planet. We have created a God in our own misguided image of self and it is not a pretty sight. This God is a warrior who fights on one side or the other, is bloodthirsty and without compassion when it comes to killing the enemy including women and children. We have created a God who is far less than the average human being. This God is unforgiving and plans eternal punishment for those who do not abide by the accepted doctrines of the Christian cult (a cult is defined as a system of beliefs to which its adherents cling out of fear and for a sense of security and assurance about the future life). Human beings created a God separate from self, a God to whom we pray and can only hope He hears. If He does hear, we never know how He will respond. We do not know the meaning of the Apostle Paul’s statement to the Greeks in Athens: “In him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

The writer of I John reveals our Source of being: “God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them…. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts our fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love. We love because he first loved us. The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.” (I John 4:16, 18-19, 21)

These few verses of Scripture are the building blocks on which the Awakened Christian acquires Truth. We are to know the Truth: We live and move and have our being within the energy of Divine Love—the Source of our being. Neither exceptions nor middle ground are permitted when the Awakened Christian lives in love. Anything contrary to Love is not Truth. Fear is not possible when we live and move and have our being within the energy of Divine Love. Punishment is not of Love. Punishment must be distinguished from discipline in that the art of self-discipline is required in order to evolve spiritually. Discipline is written into the universal law “we reap what we sow.” (Galatians 6:7) A God of Love cannot and will not punish. God as Love allows us to develop the very advanced art of self-discipline by harvesting whatever type seeds we have planted and learning the lessons involved by means of the reaping process.

With Divine Love as the foundation, the awakened Christian is set free of the chains of orthodoxy to explore Universal Truth. Gone is the fear that we might lose our faith if this or that is true; or, if I ask too many questions. Evaporated is the fear that God will sentence us to eternal punishment if we do not hold fast to church doctrines and to the literal interpretation of the Scriptures. The awakened Christian is no longer imprisoned by false teachings. Gone is the necessity to cling to the belief that Jesus’ crucifixion was the blood sacrifice God required in order to forgive humanity for its sins (mistakes). God is not impacted by our behavior, thus has nothing to forgive. The mistakes we make are a part of our own growth process—we reap what we sow. We do so while living and moving and having our being within the love energy of God. There is neither judgment nor sentencing. Our Source of being simply awaits our awakening.

The awakened Christian recognizes that All of Creation lives and moves and has its meaning within the love energy of Source. Humanity is the microcosm of the macrocosm. The ingredients that make up our physical bodies are the same substances contained in all of creation. All is energy. All of creation sings to the sound of mathematics. Music is mathematics. There is no field of study that can be outside of omnipresent Source. Humanity can choose to misuse universal Truth; however, misuse does not mean Truth itself is outside of the loving energy of Source permeating All of Creation.

The awakened Christian is aware that all attempts to categorize facets of creation as off-limits are operating outside of Truth. Example: In the late 15th century, the church condemned the study of astrology. In Truth, God created the stars, planets, and the qualitative influences they have upon human beings and the entire universe. Thus, the church condemned the study of a portion of God’s meaningful creation. As a result, orthodox Christians avoid the science of astrology and deprive themselves of the tremendous personal knowledge and guidance to be found therein. The configuration of stars on any given day of birth broadcasts the soul purpose and lessons to be learned for the souls reincarnating on that day. In truth, birthdays are celebrated as opportunities to re-affirm the soul’s intent for the coming year. (See Sun Signs on http://www.pathwaytoascension.com as an example of soul-centered astrology.)

Soul-centered astrology is not the only avenue the universe offers in the form of extremely individualized guidance. The awakened Christian is familiar with the reason importance is placed on the names of the biblical characters. Names possess a numerical value that also proclaims our soul’s purpose for this incarnation. Our names depict who we are and were intuitively given to us by our parents. (See Your Destiny Number on http://www.pathwaytoascension.com to determine the meaning of your name.) The lines on the palm of our hands also reveal our potential personal story. Our handwriting shares the qualities of our personality with those who study it. Within the universe, we are an open, energetic book of life. We are known for who we really are—an indispensable part of the divine plan for the whole of creation.

The planet on which we live is one of untold millions of inhabited planets throughout the cosmos. An awakened Christian is aware that all of creation is living and evolving—including the stars, planets, animals, rocks, and plants. Life never ends and is everywhere. No part of divine creation is non-essential; all of it is woven together to build the meaningful whole. Earth and the other planets are not simply round balls on which intelligent beings live; instead, they too are a form of intelligent being. There is a reason we call our planet Mother Earth, or Gaia. She is a living, intelligent, evolving spiritual being. As such, she has graciously consented to allow Earth humans to evolve along with her. All of creation is evolving into higher and higher planes of existence.

Our Milky Way galaxy is one of many galaxies teeming with intelligent life and possessing technology so advanced as to render earthly technology infantile. A vast variety of beings exist within our galaxy—some appear very similar to Earth humans, others, very different. The awakened Christian is open to accepting our galactic family and working with them to restore Earth to its pristine purity and beauty. The Galactic Federation of Light will appear in visible form in the very near future. Our galactic brothers and sisters come in love to assist us in preparing Earth and ourselves for ascension into the 5th dimension of consciousness.

No negativity may enter the 5th dimension; therefore, the awakened Christian accepts the divine call to purification. We acknowledge the fact that Earth has heretofore been our classroom; that we incarnated to learn lessons in soul growth. For this reason, we are all prone to make mistakes, some of which have been hurtful to others. As we achieve full consciousness of our eternal lifestream, we understand the reasons “why” for all of our difficulties and pain—they are the ways by which we learn. (See the 16 Lessons on the Metaphysical Interpretation of the Biblical Book of Job noted above.) With that understanding comes the knowledge that there is nothing to forgive, nothing about which to hold resentment. Just as Source has nothing to forgive in relationship to us, we have nothing to forgive concerning others. Once we understand the reasons “why,” we would not dream of punishing for eternity anyone who caused us pain by their mistakes. Instead, the spiritually advanced action is to thank others for assisting in our learning process.

An awakened Christian is aware that eternal life has no beginning and no end. Eternal life for each of us involves a wide variety of experiences, both on planet Earth, on other planets throughout the universe, and within the realms of spirit. Most of us have chosen to incarnate on Earth numerous times because it offers the opportunity to learn—on the plane of duality—how to choose consistently good over evil. (The plane of duality is symbolized by the tree of good and evil in the biblical story of the Garden of Eden. Evil = live spelled backwards; in other words, evil is living with our backs turned away from our loving Source.) Now that the being we call Mother Earth, or Gaia, is preparing for ascension into the 5th dimension, we are given the choice to prepare for our own ascension into the 5th dimension or to go elsewhere within the universe to continue our spiritual evolution. Many of us originate from other planets and will have the opportunity to return to our home planet, which may already be functioning on the 5th dimension. Thus, the awakened Christian thinks in terms of a universe of planets and beings—all belonging to the family of God.

The awakened Christian knows the Bible to be a book of narratives that reveal Truth through the medium of symbolism. An actual historical framework may or may not be present. The surface story serves as the skeleton housing a far deeper level of teaching. The metaphysical interpretation of the Biblical Book of Job, found at http://www.pathwaytoascension.com, offers a most vivid example of symbolic meaning within a biblical saga. We grew up being taught that Job depicts a righteous human being who suffered extreme loss, yet refused to curse God. Instead, the Book of Job reveals the process of individual ascension into higher levels of consciousness—a journey we must all undertake at some point in time. Likewise, the New Testament can be read as the account of embarking on intentional ascension into higher realms of awareness. Jesus—symbolizing the soul within each of us—shows us the way to achieve ascension through the five major events in his life: birth, baptism, transfiguration, crucifixion, and ascension.

In summary, the awakened Christian thrills to the knowledge that the universe in which we live is alive and constantly evolving into higher manifestations of the Source of our being. There is no end to life, no reason to fear, no eternal punishment, no permanent state of being. There is only omnipresent Love in which we live and move and have our being. The awakened Christian is set free by seeking and knowing that the Holy Spirit within will guide everyone into all Truth.

AMERICA & THE POWER OF TWELVE PLUS ONE

God n Zodiac 2God Painting the Zodiac

http://www.drturi.com/vaticanzodiac.php

NOTE:  I wrote this article a few days after 9/11.  Now, a few days after the November 2010 mid-term elections, it is once again extremely relevant.

The twelve tribes of Israel … Jesus’ twelve disciples … the twelve powers of humanity … the twelve zodiac signs.  The significance of the number vibration “twelve” is evident throughout the Bible and cosmos.  It is indicative of the twelve avenues through which the Soul makes its pilgrimage and offers the service that leads to the birth of the Christ Consciousness within each of us—the consciousness anointed with the energy of Divine Love.  According to Corinne Heline, who based her teachings on those of Pythagoras, twelve forces encircling the One and thereby forming a Unity, vibrates to 13.  Within this formula of 13 lies the secret of plenty, peace, and empowerment for all of humankind.  Within this holy vibration of 13, all things are possible.

America stands within this vibration of 13.  According to Heline, in her “Sacred Science of Numbers,” America’s destiny is based on the number vibration of 13.  The Seal of the United States of America exhibits repeated use of 13.  The designers of the Seal were knowledgeable of cosmic law.

With a destiny number of 13, America’s mission is wrought with responsibility.  Resonating to the choices we make, the energies involved in the number 13 will manifest as “death through failure and degeneration”—or—the attainment of regeneration as a nation of enlightened democracy living in a world of peace and goodwill for all.  There are no halfway measures with the number 13.  The vibration of 13 demands all or nothing.

America was created by our Founding Fathers in response to a high calling—a call from the Ascended Masters in compliance with the overall Divine Plan for Earth humans.  The Ascended Master St. Germain worked closely with the Founding Fathers, assisting in the preparation of what was to be a shining example of an enlightened democracy.  America, under the vibration of 13, is to inaugurate fresh beginnings for all inhabitants on this planet.

On this 4th day of November 2010 (as on the 15th day of September 2001), America stands at a crossroads.  Once more, the entire world is watching … waiting.  Which way will we go?  Will we take the path of additional death and destruction—or—will we accept our destiny as a nation of 13 and set an example of enlightenment for our planet?

Every American represents 1 of the 12.  Will we together encircle the One God and create a Unity of 13, with the power to do all things, including re-creating our world into one of peace and justice for all?  Or, will we add to the destruction already rampant on our planet?

As 1 of the 12, every American has a role to play—a role that is unique and in accordance with the zodiac energy in which his/her Soul is incarnated.  Each of the zodiac energies signifies a major thread in the tapestry of our nation.  The zodiac energies do not differentiate between race, religion, political party, or economic status.  All parts are equally vital within the whole of the tapestry.  Even though all 12 zodiac energies seek to express according to their unique qualities, we are to come together as the 12 in Unity with the One.  In order to do so, we must know and appreciate the energies involved.  We must leave no one out.  We must remember that it is from the ashes of sorrow and pain that we may arise into newness of life.  America has an unprecedented opportunity to rise from the ashes and to transform our nation and world by the choices we make at this very moment.

As 1 of the 12, every American must re-evaluate our present cry for retaliation and punishment.  Presently, we are choosing the path of destruction.  Violence begets violence.  We must re-consider and notify our national leaders that we choose to be 1 of the 12 in the circle of Unity with the One God.

Let us rise from the ashes and assume our role in the re-creation of our nation and planet.  Let us understand and honor the unique qualities of each of the 12 zodiac energies.  Because we are a nation and planet of 12, our reactions will vary.  We feel the urge toward active, physical participation with varying degrees of intensity.  All of the 12 are needed.

I list below the characteristics of each zodiac sign that are most needed during this crucial point in the assumption of our national destiny of 13—to work as the 12 in unity with the One.  According to the extent the zodiac energy is represented in the natal chart, we may witness the strength and goodness of these characteristics within each of the 12.

ARIES:  although Aries will tend to react initially with the desire to “fight back,” this energy may be transformed by asserting self in positive ways that inspire and lead others to something better.  Aries can lead in ways that pioneer into new vistas of life and that lead us into an expansion of possibilities.

TAURUS:  although Taurus will resist change, its fixed quality and groundedness to the Earth play a positive role in the life of our nation.  Taurus offers the stability needed in the face of tremendous change.  Taurus can lead the way in adopting new values, especially as these values relate to money and material possessions.

GEMINI:  although Gemini can lack definitive direction, its conscious awareness of duality can offer valuable insights pertaining to all sides.  Gemini is a channel for the 2nd Ray of Love/Wisdom.  Gemini can hold the energy of love and provide intuitive insights, while the more practical zodiac energies work to express this Love/Wisdom in concrete ways within our nation and world.

CANCER:  although Cancer will tend to be overly attached to the individual family unit, its urge toward nurturing others can manifest thru very creative avenues of expression.  Cancer can become the Universal Parent, with talent for bringing forth the creativity of others.  Cancer possesses an excellent sense of business and can easily discern the needs of the public.

It is important to know that America’s zodiac sign is Cancer.  Thus, its destiny reflects the characteristics of Cancer energy.  America’s destiny is to nurture every citizen into his/her unique avenue of creative expression.  America’s destiny is to be a Universal Parent.

LEO:  although Leo may view the world in terms of self, it is one of the political energies that also carries an outstanding talent for leadership.  As Leo learns to think of others, it can easily assume the leadership of service-oriented groups or organizations.  Leo’s optimism and flair for the dramatic can add spice to life.  Leo shares eagerly the Sun’s warmth and generosity.

VIRGO:  although Virgo will lean toward perfectionism and being overly critical, its talent for details serves well in organizing projects, documents, and research.  Virgo is the primary channel for the 2nd Ray of Love/Wisdom.  With its earthy practicality, Virgo is skilled in serving others via expressing Love/Wisdom in tangible forms.  Virgo will often be the follower who serves well the leader of an organization.

LIBRA:  although Libra will tend to hide its unique identity behind that of others, it is talented in diplomacy.  A Libra who also carries the Leo influence will possess excellent skills in politics.  Libra’s need for balance between opposites allows it to perceive the dynamics of all sides of an issue.  Libra is socially adept and can be counted on to add a sense of refinement and culture to any event.

SCORPIO:  although Scorpio’s initial reaction will be to fight and seek victory over all adversaries, it can be counted on for an in-depth perception into the behavior of others.  Scorpio’s energy is that of transformation and regeneration.  Scorpio is the primary channel of the highly artistic 4th Ray of Harmony thru Conflict.  Scorpio is capable of tremendous self-sacrifice.  With the word “sacrifice” coming from the Latin root word meaning “to make holy,” Scorpio is capable of extraordinary transformation of the lower into the higher.

SAGITTARIUS:  although Sagittarius may procrastinate and want to be in control, it possesses an innate sense of the Spirit within all things.  Sagittarius aspires to lofty heights of pure ideas and wisdom.  It is the minister and teacher of humankind.  Sagittarius offers, to all nationalities, its optimism and its ability to inspire others to greater heights.  Once Sagittarius knows the Good, it can easily lead others into the Truth of All Good.

CAPRICORN:  although Capricorn may be overly concerned with personal prestige and gaining the respect of others, it is the Builder of Form.  Capricorn is at home with structuring building blocks or ideas into a meaningful whole.  It is a natural administrator of large corporations, with an innate sense of the type organization needed to stimulate the greatest benefits.  Capricorn can be the Universal Father, while its polarity (Cancer) can be the Universal Mother.  Capricorn can provide the structure needed; Cancer can provide the nurturance needed to allow all to unfold according to their fullest potential.

AQUARIUS:  although Aquarius can be overly persistent in propagating its own ideas, it is also a very intuitive, inventive energy.  Aquarius seeks to provide the water that quenches the thirst of humankind.  It is universally oriented, impersonal energy that seeks to provide on a large scale.  Its goal is a better world for all of humanity.  Aquarius thinks outside the box and can be counted on to provide innovative solutions to the problems of humanity.

PISCES:  although tempted to hide its talents in substance abuse, Pisces is extremely sensitive, creative energy with a love of drama.  Pisces is the energy of selfless service to others.  It is mystical, with a direct link to the invisible realms of existence.  Music and healing talents are usually present.  The high calling of Pisces is to be Servant Savior of the World.  Mother Theresa was Pisces.

**************************

As you study the 12 zodiac energies, visualize Americans—representing each sign—standing hand-in-hand in a circle, with the One standing in the center.  Note the 12 avenues of service, all focused upon serving the One God.  Feel the unity … the beauty … the variety … the peace of this Circle of 13 ……………

Would you not much rather experience the coming years within this Circle of 13 than within the destruction that responding to violence with violence will cause?

All that the world needs may be found within the planetary Circle of 13.  All of the talents and skills needed to re-create a world, without terrorists and political bickering, exists within this Planetary Circle of 13.  Violence will shatter this Circle of Unity.  Our beautiful planet will be marred with even more devastation.

****************************

America, the nation whose destiny vibration is 13, must choose.  Will we stand within a loving Circle of 13—or—will we wreak havoc on our planet?  Will America fulfill its role in the Divine Plan for Earth humans—or—will we choose death and destruction instead?

Please contact our president and congressional representatives and let them know you choose to stand within America’s highest destiny:  as a member of the loving Circle of 13 … as a member of an enlightened democracy … as a citizen of our world and galaxy, abiding in peace and justice for all.

Within the power of this sacred 13, all the forces for Good within the cosmos are available to America.

May God bless America with the courage to stand within the Circle of 13!

IF JESUS IS OUR WAYSHOWER, WHAT DID HE SHOW US? – PART 8 – LORD, TEACH US TO PRAY

Part 8

“Lord, Teach Us To Pray”

HELPFUL HINT – Elizabeth Clare Prophet’s chart of the Divine Self is most helpful in understanding the entirety of your being.  It relates especially well to this lesson.

http://tsl.org/2009/10/chart-of-your-divine-self/

Jesus instructed his disciples concerning the manner in which we are to pray. “When you pray, enter into your inner chamber and lock your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret shall himself reward you openly.  And when you pray, do not repeat your words like the pagans, for they think that because of much talking they will be heard.  Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need, before you ask him.”[1]

Preparation for prayer entails turning our attention inward and focusing on the God dwelling within us, our I AM PRESENCE.  Prayer is a lifting upward of our thought energy, an elevating of our consciousness to the higher realms of existence.  The Psalmist described preparation for prayer, “I will lift mine eyes to the mountain from whence comes my help.  My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.”[2] Prayer, and its answer, is that two-way flow of energy between our physical self and our I AM PRESENCE.  It is to be done in secret and not with a motive of impressing others.  The power and glory are to be God’s alone.

In response to his disciples’ request, Jesus also taught us how to pray. We find the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6.  The chart of our Divine Self is an excellent visual companion to the Lord’s Prayer.  Embedded within this prayer is the formula for our transformation into the Christed Consciousness.  Let’s look at this formula more closely.

“Our Father ….” We are to address God as our Father.  These two words tell us who we are.  We are God’s children—all of us.  Because we are the children of Father/Mother God, we are child-gods learning through the human experience.  Jesus is our elder brother and we are members of one human family.  The Aramaic word for Father, Abba, signifies an intimate relationship, one that we often refer to as Dad.[3] According to Fillmore, Abba indicates a relationship of the “most tender of affections.”[4] Jesus is revealing that our relationship to God is to be one of tender affection and intimacy.

“Who art in heaven ….” Jesus taught “the kingdom of heaven is within you”[5] We are to pray to our Father/Mother God who is within us.  The kingdom of heaven within us is our I AM PRESENCE.  God has individualized within each of us and therefore, offers us the privilege of sharing an intimate relationship.  When we pray, we are not praying to a being separate from ourselves, who is far away and may not hear us.  We are praying to a Part of who we are—our I AM PRESENCE.  We are praying to the perfect Dad, the Dad who wants only the best for us.  Because the kingdom of heaven is within us, we are never alone.  We are never without unconditional love.  We are never without the means to fulfill our role in the Divine Plan.  Everything we could ever need can be found within ourselves.  Our task is to awaken to that fact.

“Hallowed be thy name.” To hallow something means to set it apart, with  reverence, for a sacred purpose.[6] Within the name is the numerical vibration on which every individual functions.  Our name reveals who we are at the core of our being.  To hallow God’s name means to set it aside for a special purpose in our lives.  We learn what this purpose is to be in the next phrase.

“Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, as in heaven so on earth.” We are to set God’s name apart as the guiding Light for our lives.  When we pray that God’s kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven, we are asking God to express through our earth plane lives as powerfully as in the higher dimensions of existence.  We are making the commitment to allow God to manifest, through our daily lives, in ways that demonstrate recognition of our true identities as a beloved Son or Daughter of God.  When we pray “Thy will be done,” we are surrendering our personal wills to the Divine Will.  Recall the Divine Self chart.  The physical part of us stands with hands open to receive, as the stream of energy flows forth from our I AM PRESENCE into our physical plane lives.  As we surrender to Divine Will, we do so knowing that our Father will bestow all things Good upon us.  There is no fear, no hesitation in receiving our Good.  The outstretched hands may also signify sharing our Good with the world.  We set apart the powerful energy, that is within the name of God, for the special purpose of assisting in creating heaven on earth and thereby, fulfilling the Divine Plan.

“Give us bread for our needs from day to day.” As we allow God’s energy to flow unimpeded into our daily lives, there is a constant supply of all we need.  We do not have to worry over “what we will eat, or what we will wear.”[7] We are to seek attunement with the kingdom of heaven within us and know that all our needs will be supplied before we can even identify them.  The chart of our Divine Self reveals we live within a capsule of white light that is connected directly to our I AM PRESENCE.  The God within us sees all of life, is unlimited, and ever-present with us.  There is no way we can experience lack, as long as we remain open to the influx of God’s abundant supply flowing to us from a source within ourselves.  We are never separated from our Good.  It is only our insufficient spiritual attunement that leads to experiencing lack or imperfection.

“And forgive us our offenses, as we have forgiven our offenders.” Because we have forgotten our true identities, this portion of the Lord’s Prayer has created much confusion.  In our spiritual blindness, we believe we are praying for God’s forgiveness.  God beholds each of us according to the immaculate conception of perfection with which we were created.  Because we made the freewill choice to experience the plane of duality, we are having continually to make decisions as to how we will live our lives.  We make mistakes and create pain.  But, the part of us that is God never changes.  God has no need to forgive us.  We must forgive our physical plane selves, for the mistakes we make while attending school on planet Earth.  Recall the chart.  The physical body is surrounded with the purple transmuting flame.  This flame is our source of forgiveness and it is ever-present with us.  As we allow the flame to transmute our negative thoughts, emotions, and actions, we are choosing to forgive ourselves.  Negativity is not a permanent energy.  It can be transformed, by the purple flame, into the pure energy of God.  Likewise, we are to view those who offend us in the same manner.  They, too, make mistakes while attending school on planet Earth.  We can just as easily transmute the pain, which we allowed our offenders to create in our lives, as we can transmute the pain we created for ourselves.  Failure to forgive ourselves, and others, creates pockets of negativity within our energy field.  These pockets clog the passageways to our reception of the constant flow of Good coming to us from our I AM PRESENCE.  Our spiritual progress hinges upon our willingness to forgive and transmute all mistakes made by ourselves and others.  We cannot move forward on the spiritual Path as long as our energy fields are clogged with negativity.  It is for this reason that forgiveness of self and others is of such paramount importance.

“And do not let us enter into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” Our I AM PRESENCE can only hold in Mind the immaculate conception of perfection with which we were created.  Since we possess the gift of freewill, it is up to us to be so closely attuned to our I AM PRESENCE that we will not enter temptation.  God does Its part by holding, for us, the image of our perfection. We must do the rest.  As we seek first the kingdom of God within us, we turn our backs to evil.  (Remember evil is turning our backs to God.)  We deliver ourselves from evil by choosing to hallow God’s name and power, by choosing to assist in creating heaven on earth.  The words “do not let us” sound as if we are asking God to prevent our entering temptation.  However, because we possess freewill, God has no power to intervene.  In the Bible, “let us” constitutes a command or fiat.  It is a powerful affirmation of what we intend in our lives.  With the words “do not let us,” we are stating our intention to attune to our I AM PRESENCE and thereby, overcome temptation and deliver ourselves from evil.

“For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever and ever.” With these words, we are affirming our intention to maintain a consciousness of the kingdom within ourselves.  From this kingdom will flow our abundant supply; it is the Source of all our Good.  We are affirming our intention to allow the power of our I AM PRESENCE to flow through us and to do the works God would have us do.  Jesus explained repeatedly, “I can do nothing on my own … whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.” [8] We are to be the channels through which God finds expression on this planet.  The numeric value of our names reveal the ways in which God chooses to manifest through us.[9] (See Endnote below)  The power for all we do is to flow from our I AM PRESENCE.  To believe our personality selves possess the power to achieve our goals is to fool ourselves and to create scenarios in which we adopt false beliefs about who we are.  Likewise, the glory for our good works belongs to our I AM PRESENCE.  When a rich ruler called him “Good Teacher,” Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good?  No one is good but God alone.”[10] In order to possess the Christed Consciousness, we must live as an outpicturing of our I AM PRESENCE, the kingdom of God within us.  All power and glory belong to this kingdom.

AMEN  – “a Hebrew word meaning certainty, truthfulness, and faithfulness.”    It also means “So be it.”[11] When we end our prayer with AMEN, we are affirming our faith that the answer is already present in our lives.  We are certain of this Truth.  “So be it” is our fiat, or command.  Prayer is not pleading for favors from a distant God.  Prayer is a means of co-creating with God—of bringing forth that which is already ours to claim, our rightful inheritance as a Son or Daughter of God.

The formula, for the Christed Consciousness depicted within the Lord’s Prayer, is one of recognizing who we truly are.  It entails abiding with continual awareness of the kingdom within ourselves, while turning outward to the world with arms outstretched in service.  The Christed Consciousness means being a vehicle through which our indwelling God can manifest freely and powerfully.

And, to God be the glory forever and ever.  Amen!

Part 4 of Series
“Jesus’ Approach to Healing”

The four gospels are filled with accounts of Jesus healing. Jesus’ approach to healing can teach us much about why illness occurs and how healing may take place.

In Matthew 8, a leper kneels before Jesus, saying, “Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean. He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, ‘I do choose. Be made clean!’ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Then Jesus said to him, ‘See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

In biblical times, leprosy was a highly contagious disease, requiring purification. Though Jesus could heal the disease, the man had to fulfill the rites of purification before a priest in order to be ritually clean. Rituals portray symbolically a greater truth or universal law. The purification ritual reminds us that no healing can be permanent unless we seek purification of the error thinking and behavior that brought about the dis-ease. That the ritual was to take place in the Temple, or synagogue, signifies that the God within the temple of our being is the Source of all true healing. As we turn inward and commune with God, purification and healing is available. In order to be lasting, all external modalities of healing must be accompanied by our own commitment to internal purification and healing.

I would caution all of us: dis-ease can serve many purposes, both in an individual’s life and in the lives of those within the family and community. In John 9, Jesus healed a man who was born blind. When asked who had sinned, the man or his parents, Jesus responded, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned; he was born blind so that God’s works might be revealed in him.” Before incarnating, this man had volunteered to be born blind in order to assist Jesus in his teaching ministry. Souls may volunteer to incarnate with, or confront a health challenge, so that others might evolve spiritually as a result of caring for or associating with them.

Whenever Jesus met someone who truly had faith in the healing process, he responded with enthusiastic praise. Faith plays a major role in healing. Once unwavering faith in healing exists, it is simply a matter of time. Again in Matthew 8, a Roman centurion came to Jesus, requesting, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, in terrible distress. And he said to him, ‘I will come and cure him.’ The centurion answered, ‘Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof; but only speak the word, and my servant will be healed ….’ When Jesus heard him, he was amazed and said to those who followed him, ‘Truly I tell you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith ….’ And to the centurion Jesus said, ‘Go; let it be done for you according to your faith.’ And the servant was healed in that hour.”

Faith involves intuitive knowledge of Truth. The centurion was attuned to the Father manifesting through Jesus. His inner knowledge allowed him to believe, without a tinge of doubt, that his servant would be healed. The servant’s healing also serves as an example of distant healing. When we participate in a healing prayer circle, the energy we send to the names called goes to each individual. What that person does with the healing energy is his/her choice. The servant was ready to be healed, thus he received the energy—sent to him by Jesus—as the means of healing.

In Matthew 9, we have an example of Jesus forgiving sins (sins = error thinking and behavior) as a modality for healing. A group of friends brought a paralytic, lying on a bed, to Jesus. As they approached him, Jesus perceived that the man’s paralyzed body was a result of past or present life negative karma. The universal law—”We reap what we sow”—had manifested in the paralytic’s life. Jesus intuited that the karmic debt had been paid, that the man was now ready to receive healing. He simply said, “Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” At that moment healing occurred. Then to prove, to the religious leaders observing him, that the Father within each of us has the power to forgive and heal, Jesus commanded the man to: “Stand up, take your bed and go to your home. And he stood up and went to his home.” This man had earned the right to be healed by paying off his karmic debt. How? We cannot be sure; very likely, by accepting and dealing with his physical condition in the most positive manner possible. His healing also served as an example to others. God’s grace is available to all of us as we sincerely seek to forgive self and others. Then, we must be willing to transform the way we live our lives, so that we manifest an outer expression of a true inner healing. Jesus commanded the man to stand up, take his bed, and go home. His friends were no longer to carry him. Instead, he was to assume responsibility for his own life.

An example in Matthew 15 is curious because Jesus appears to respond on the basis of prejudice. A Canaanite woman begs him to heal her demon possessed daughter. Jesus ignores her pleas, but she is loud and persistent. Finally, he speaks to her: “‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. But she came and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, help me.’ He answered, ‘It is not fair to take the children’s food and throw it to the dogs.’ She said, ‘Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters’ table.’ Then Jesus answered her, ‘Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.’ And her daughter was healed instantly.”

In Bible metaphysics, a Canaanite individual symbolizes the material consciousness that seeks fulfillment solely on the physical level. Israel signifies those who seek God. (Charles Fillmore, Metaphysical Bible Dictionary) So what appears to be prejudice is actually Jesus’ recognition that to offer spiritual teachings and healing to one who is not seeking God is to waste the energy. When the Canaanite woman reminds Jesus that the dogs eat the crumbs from the master’s table, she is expressing her desire to receive from the Master, even though she had not previously sought God. Jesus recognized her persistence and the unfolding of a higher consciousness within her, and healed her daughter.

Persistence is often required of us. Persistence builds stamina, self-discipline, and the capacity to concentrate on lifting our consciousness to a higher level. This example also proclaims our capacity to be “our sister and brother’s keeper.” The Canaanite woman was persistent in seeking help for her daughter, who was helplessly possessed. The mother’s transformed consciousness served as the avenue through which her daughter was healed. It is the same for us. We can, by lifting our consciousness to a higher level, serve as an avenue of healing for those around us. And, when enough of us lift our consciousness, the critical mass will be attained and all of humanity will begin to perceive Light instead of darkness.

The last example is found in John 5. Jesus entered the pools of Bethesda. Many invalids sat around the pools, waiting for an angel to stir the waters. It was believed that the first person to step into the waters, after the angel stirred them, would be healed. Jesus perceived one man, ill for 38 years, was ready to be healed. He asked him: “‘Do you want to be made well?’ The sick man answered him, ‘Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take your mat, and walk.’ At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk.”

This man had been ill for 38 years. 3+8=11 or the number vibration of self-mastery. He was ready to be healed; however, a prerequisite for healing is the desire to be healed. Jesus could intuit that the man had accomplished his soul’s purpose in his prolonged illness. But, did he want to be healed? Wellness could mean great changes in his life. Chronic illness can provide many perks that the individual may not be ready to give up, such as the constant attention and caring of others. At least one staff member at Unity Village is very firm in asking each of his potential clients: “Do you want to be healed?” If the person hesitates and is not sure, the healing work is postponed until the individual is ready and can affirm unequivocally: “I want to be healed.”

Jesus recognized that healing is temporary unless the individual truly desires to be healed. While it is possible to be cured from one condition, the same will re-occur—or another will take its place—if the healing is not desired and if the person is not willing to make the necessary changes in lifestyle. In following Jesus’ command to take up his mat and walk, the man revealed through his actions that he was ready to transform his life. He chose wellness, not dis-ease, and set about integrating wellness into his lifestyle.

Our movement toward healing requires that we consciously make the choice to release the old way of life and embark on a new adventure—that of accepting wellness into our lives. Receiving a healing can mean that we must make an honest evaluation of our lifestyles and determine the factors that contribute to dis-ease. May we all love ourselves enough to make the changes needed to create an environment and lifestyle that brings about healing and allows us to maintain a state of wellness.

In the words of the Apostle Paul, “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? …. Therefore, glorify God in your body.” (I Corinthians 6:19-20)

We glorify God by caring for our physical, emotional, and mental health … by wanting to be made well and by graciously receiving a healing … by knowing that physical death is the ultimate healing—if the individual chooses that avenue of returning to spirit realms. Physical death, for that person, signifies the completion of soul work assigned for this incarnation. Once the soul’s mission is finished, we are freed to return home.

There is, however, another way. As we move into the Golden Aquarian Age, the multitudes have been granted the opportunity to ascend into the 5th dimension of higher consciousness without having to go through physical death. Planet Earth is scheduled to ascend to the 5th dimension; we are granted the choice to ascend along with it. We may do so by purifying our energy field and lifting our conscious awareness to the level of the Peace, Love, and Light that characterize the 5th dimension. Death will be no more.

IF JESUS IS A WAYSHOWER, WHAT DID HE SHOW US? PART I – DIVINE PLAN

If Jesus Is A Wayshower, What Did He Show Us?”

Part 1 of Series
“We Are Interconnected Within the Divine Plan”

Christ-centered metaphysicians teach that Jesus incarnated to be a Wayshower, to reveal to us our true natures, and to show us the way back home to full knowledge of ourselves as Jesus’ brothers and sisters, Sons & Daughters of God. Jesus taught: “The one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12) He taught us to call God “Abba,” an Aramaic word that translates “our Father” and signifies the level of intimacy we indicate when we use the term “dad.” Jesus also offered encouragement to us as we live on the physical plane: “I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world.” (John 16:33) Jesus incarnated to show us how to conquer the world with all its error thinking and adherence to non-truth.

In order to comprehend the role of Jesus in our lives, we must first understand who he is. We must know that life on this planet extends backward for millions of years. We—like Jesus—first set foot on planet Earth as very advanced Sons and Daughters of our Mother/Father God. As the 1st chapter of Genesis states, we were created in the image and likeness of God; thus, we were spirit beings (without a physical body) who volunteered to come to Planet Earth to experiment with freewill and its various manifestations. Freewill is the capacity to select options for self, then to experience the consequences of our decisions. Some of us made choices that resulted in forgetting our true identities as Sons and Daughters of God.

Genesis 2 relates the second creation story in which humanity took on a physical body. In doing so, we lowered our energetic vibration to the 3rd dimensional level (or physical plane). We became enmeshed in forgetfulness and spiritual blindness. We began to feel separated, even alienated, from God. The narrative of humanity being cast out of the Garden of Eden reveals our choice to experience the plane of duality, synonymous with the 3rd dimensional plane. Adam and Eve (representative of those Sons & Daughters choosing to experience the 3rd dimension) symbolically ate of the forbidden Tree of the Knowledge of Good & Evil. In other words, they chose to live with an awareness of duality: good and evil, light and darkness, male and female. (Evil is live spelled backwards. Thus, evil is the type of energy that is created when we turn our backs to God.) The Bible is the story of humanity’s struggles on the plane of duality and the awakening process by which we are resurrected into full knowledge of our true identities.

According to the hidden wisdom now being unveiled to the general public, Jesus is one of the Sons of God that managed to retain an open channel of communication with the realms of Spirit throughout many physical incarnations. Glenn Sanderfur, in his book entitled Lives of the Master: The Rest of the Jesus Story—based on the Edgar Cayce Readings—depicts the soul of Jesus present within several biblical characters, such as Enoch, Melchizedek, Joseph, Joshua, Asaph, and Jesus. The soul of Jesus incarnated as personalities who assumed a leadership role in guiding Earth humans through periods of transition and change.

During his incarnation as Jesus, he achieved a level of attunement to Spirit that allowed “the Father” to use his body as a vehicle through which to work and speak. Jesus repeatedly attempted to turn the attention away from himself and onto the Father. “Jesus said to them, ‘… the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.’” (John 5:19) Again, Jesus said, “I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak.” (John 12:49) It is essential that we remember these words of Jesus as we get to know him as a Wayshower. The majority of the words attributed to Jesus were actually the Father speaking through him. Not making this distinction is the basis on which many of the misinterpretations of Jesus and the Bible are founded. Thus, for the majority of Christians, Jesus became one to be worshipped; one to whom we could not hope to relate on equal terms. As some have awakened to the presence of our indwelling God, Jesus has been placed on a shelf as no longer relevant. To do so is to deprive self of an inspiring Wayshower. In this series of lessons, we will look at the ways by which Jesus approached life on physical plane in an effort to better integrate Truth into our lifestyles. Jesus explained to the Roman officials ruling Palestine, “For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth.” (John 18:37) What is this Truth?

The birth narratives, found in the gospels of Matthew and Luke, reveal much Truth about the universe in which we live. Matthew’s gospel begins with the genealogy of Jesus. This genealogy is far more than a recitation of family history. It is packed with mathematical formulas that relate universal truths. One easily discernible message is that Jesus incarnated to be an example for all people, not to any one particular race or religion. Jesus’ relationship to our universal human family reveals the interconnectedness of all of us. On an energetic level, our individual mission is one that impacts the whole universe. Like Jesus, each of us incarnated to fulfill a unique role—a vital role within the overall universal plan. No human being stands isolated on an island. No human being incarnates with nothing to contribute to the divine scheme of ongoing creation.

Each incarnation is organized and planned in cooperation with the group of souls accompanying us. In Luke’s gospel, the birth narratives inform us that Elizabeth and Zechariah agreed to become the parents of John the Baptist. Elizabeth conceived after she and Zechariah were advanced in age. In the ancient Middle East, to be barren of children was considered a disgrace for women. Divine timing required that Elizabeth endure this disgrace, just as we often feel that we are enduring more than we bargained for. Divine timing is the means by which the universal plan unfolds. It cannot be rushed.

John the Baptist contracted to prepare the people for Jesus and his ministry. His was the soul of the prophet Elijah. Along with his mission of preparing the people, John also planned to pay the debt of negative karma he incurred as Elijah—that of killing the prophets of Baal. This debt was paid when King Herod ordered John beheaded. You and I incarnate to perform a mission and to balance any karmic debts lingering in our energy field. The contrast between Jesus and his relatives—John the Baptist, Elizabeth, and Zechariah—is that Jesus was more consciously aware of his mission at an early age. Some of us let it be known, from the time we are old enough to talk, what we want to do with our lives. Others of us have more trouble attuning to our purpose. But, the bottom line is: all incarnate with a soul plan. Our lives are not random; they are not an accident, regardless of how consciously or unconsciously our parents planned the pregnancy. Our parents are not happenstance. The close personal relationships we experience throughout any one incarnation were planned on the soul level. We have all agreed to meet and sojourn together on this planet for a span of time.

Another truth revealed in the birth narratives is the mutual cooperation between beings in spirit and those of us living on Earth. The angels played a major role in guiding Elizabeth and Zechariah, Mary and Joseph in their preparations to bring forth John and Jesus. Archangel Gabriel appeared to Zechariah and to Mary, announcing the forthcoming birth of sons. Gabriel instructed them to name their sons “John” and “Jesus.” Names denote the universal mathematical vibration on which the individual will carry out the soul’s mission. Even though our parents consciously knew nothing about numerology and the extreme importance of naming a child, their souls carried memories of the plans made before they incarnated physically. They also communicated with our souls while they slept—prior to our entrance into a physical body. The vast majority of us find that our names are indicative of who we are and what we are about. Once in awhile, an individual will discard the given name because it feels so incongruent with who she/he is. Not often. The universe knows intimately each of us and our parents are guided in the fulfillment of that knowledge.

The energy vibrations, on which we are functioning during this incarnation, are imprinted in the mathematics of the universe and within the energetic influences of the stars at the time of our birth. Our life plan is imprinted in the palms of our hands; it is revealed in our handwriting. The Wise Men of the East could read the story of Jesus’ birth in the configuration of the stars. Our births onto this planet were orchestrated in cooperation with the assistance of the universe. In ways we cannot fathom, we are immersed in the interconnectedness of all of creation.

Mary and Joseph were attuned to the world of Spirit. Archangel Gabriel communicated with them in person and through dreams. Both were committed to following the guidance of the angels. Mary agreed to her pregnancy, knowing that those around her would question her fidelity to Joseph. Joseph obeyed the angel’s instructions to marry Mary even though he knew his family and friends might not understand. Allowing truth to unfold in our lives, regardless of the external consequences, can be a challenge. Truth is: Allowing divine order to unfold in our lives is the way by which we cooperate with the universal plan.

The birth narratives disclose another universal truth. The failure to carry out the agreed upon soul contract by any one of the individuals involved could have interrupted the process. Zechariah could have divorced Elizabeth because she was barren. Mary could have said, “No” to becoming pregnant by immaculate conception. In her day, women were stoned to death for adultery. How were people to know the truth about her? Joseph could have refused to marry her; thereby, creating an unbearable scenario for Mary. John the Baptist could have chosen another life career and failed to prepare the way for Jesus. At any number of stages, Jesus could have reneged on his commitment. All had freewill. Consider the domino effect that could have occurred had any one person revoked his/her soul’s commitment.

Truth is: This same domino effect happens when we renounce our soul’s contract. Those lifelong dreams that nag at you, the inner soul urges that pull you in one direction while your sense of duty and practicality push you in another, those “if only” yearnings that arise in our consciousness when we are free to allow our mind to wander in the ethers—listen to them. Heed their importance in the unfolding of your life’s role in the divine plan; follow Spirit’s guidance no matter how senseless and frightening it may feel to do so. The innermost part of our being knows our soul’s plan—our individual truth. To deny the knowingness that we possess intuitively is to start a domino effect in our lives and in the lives of others. The universe is impacted, to greater or lesser extent, by whether or not we carry through on our soul commitments.

What Truth do we learn from the birth narratives? We are an integral part of the whole. Our lives are extremely meaningful and valuable within the universal scheme of things. Using our freewill to choose to renege on our soul’s contract with our companion souls might disrupt the life plan of numerous others.

Jesus and the stories of his birth proclaim our true worth—every individual is interconnected with all other Earth humans and with our universal family as a valuable part of the overall divine plan.
