This was just one of those days, so reminiscent of the first Sunday after 9/11.  There were people in my two Churches that I had not seen for ages! It is not yet Christmas and Easter is still four months away!

Yes, the killings in Newtown, Connecticut had everyone packing into the pews ….. and why?  FEAR!

Furrowed brows, down hearts, glum looks, sobbing.

“Where is God?”

“How could a God of Love let this happen?”

And the old stand-by “What is happening to this world?”

I expected Ward Cleaver of “Leave it to Beaver” fame to walk in and add his fueled classic:  “Now this would not have happened in my day” to an already stoked and blazing fire!

Perhaps the most fear-laden remark I heard today was from an older soprano in the Choir who threw up her hands, declaring:  “Where is God?  He is nowhere near any of us!”

I answered, “God is in you.  You are God.”

She stared at me, “Really?  Well I hope so because this just isn’t working anymore!”

Hmmm…… awakening comes sometimes at a very costly price!

At the first service, a sermon was not even necessary as the congregation wanted to talk:  “Was the child depressed?  I heard he had autism.”

“This is just the fuel atheists’ need to attack Christianity”….. Now that was a good one!

One elderly lady remarked “I have always been a supporter of the Second Amendment so that people could bear arms; but we have just got to do something!

I don’t think I will support that position any longer!”  Hmm…. Out of the mouth of babes.

Trust me, I am not callous about these killings in Connecticut one iota.  But if I saw  anything today, it was again how people unaware of their Godhood have no hope.

Perhaps the icing on the cake was to hear that Westboro Baptist will go and picket the funerals of the slain. I even saw a Christian Channel on YouTube dedicated to God’s Judgment upon the slain of Connecticut as well as the Filipino people hit by the tsunami.  What love pours forth from those not awake.

NOTE BY NANCY:  What my minister friend experienced today in his two churches is very much like what another friend and I encountered following 9/11.  People were awakening and seeking more.  My friend opened Unity Spirit Center, a place where people could come and discuss whatever they chose without fear of repercussions.  Then, 9/11 occurred.  People rushed back to their former churches, fearfully grasping for the familiar, even though the familiar had not worked for them previously.

Like the Musing Minister, I am in NO WAY callous about the killings.  But, what I observe is that religions have failed miserably in teaching “the kingdom of God is within you.”  People can easily be scared because they have been taught a God who is separate from them, who is vengeful, and who punishes unmercifully.

When an event like 9/11 or the killings in Connecticut happens, people immediately feel that God is far away and can do anything God wants to do.  They feel shattered because God appears to be so unpredictable and so distant.

“What will God do next?” they cry.

Of course, it is difficult to honestly love God when we have been taught such terrible lies about our Mother/Father God.  Let’s allow the killings in Connecticut to be a teachable moment.

Consider what you would have preferred regarding the children and adults who were killed.  Any feelings of LOVE WITHIN YOU are coming from the God of Love who dwells within you.  “The Kingdom of God is within YOU!”  Anytime you express love, you are expressing God within you.  YOU are a part of God … there is absolutely no way you could live apart from God.

What YOU would have preferred to happen is what God would have preferred.  And in the very near future, we will learn that God has helped every individual to realize good from this experience.

Already, we are seeing a ballooning of Love Energy on this planet.  People are being kinder to each other … playing songs of Love in their homes, cars, and business establishments … expressing Love in a myriad of ways.

Those souls who left this plane are rejoicing to see the good that is being created by their return to the higher realms.  People in grief are much more open to the world of Spirit … they are very likely to feel a degree of Love beyond anything they have ever experienced.  And then…………..

Within days, the plane of duality will no longer exist on Earth.  Earth and all her inhabitants, who so choose, are ascending in consciousness to the 5^th dimensional plane of Unconditional Love and Peace.  There will no sorrow or pain on 5^th dimension.

What is Ascension?

Study the 1^st Divine Self Chart above.  Note that 3 figures are present:  1. The human being residing on the physical or 3^rd dimensional plane.  This individual naturally focuses his/her attention on the physical plane, most often depends upon his/her intellect (or lower mind) to determine answers about life, and depends upon those answers that can be verified via one of the five lower senses.  He/she will often make the statement:  I’ll believe it when I see some proof.  2. The middle figure or Higher, Intuitive Mind, the Christ Self, the Higher Self.  As the physical plane individual begins to focus on the Higher, Intuitive Mind, the Ascension process begins.  Instead of living life in accordance with the Lower, Intellectual Mind, she/he ascends or lifts his/her consciousness to the level of the Higher Self or Soul Level of Consciousness.  At this level, we begin the development of what the Apostle Paul called the mind that was in Christ Jesus.[i]   3.  The top figure, the I AM PRESENCE, God within you, the Kingdom of God within you.

The mind that was in Christ Jesus was in attunement with God’s Mind.  Jesus taught:  My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me.[ii]  So, when you and I ascend, it means that we not only know how to be in attunement with our Higher, Intuitive Mind; but will also ascend in consciousness to become One with the I AM PRESENCE indwelling us.

Study the 2^nd Divine Self Chart above.  Note that the middle figure is no longer present and that the stream of consciousness extends from the physical human being directly to the I AM PRESENCE.  This is Ascension.  We are learning to maintain the consciousness that is within the Mind of Jesus, the Mind of God.   As the Apostle Paul taught:  Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.[iii]

Will Ascension be complete on 12/21/12?  No, there are numerous dimensions of consciousness.  The Ascension, or evolutionary leap, that we are to experience approximately December 21, 2012 will be a leap to first rung of the Ascension ladder.  We will lift our consciousness above the dimensions where negativity of any kind can exist.  We will enter the realm of God-consciousness, but still have much to learn and integrate.

To ascend will mean we think like God thinks.  Since GOD IS ABSOLUTE, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, God can think only in terms of unconditional love for every individual within all of creation.  God favors no one; God forgets no one.  A God of Love cannot perceive negativity of any kind.  As we begin to think as God thinks, we will perceive only in terms of “this is my sister … this is my brother … and I love them unconditionally.  As we create an ascended society—a galactic society—we think only in terms of what is best for every single human being on this planet.  We leave no one out on the 3^rd dimensional basis of “being lazy … demanding entitlements … not worthy … let him get a job and work for his food … no government hand-outs … no work – no healthcare.”

Jesus revealed the way God thinks:  Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear.  Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?  Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not of more value than they?  And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?  And why do you worry about clothing?  Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.  But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more cloth you? [iv]

 This is how God thinks … Are we ready to think likewise?  This is ascended thinking … 5^th dimensional thinking!  Even though 5^th dimension contains no negativity, no deprivation, no jobs (working to fulfill someone else’s aspirations rather than our own), no pain, no illness, ascended individuals still think in terms of good for every part of creation—no exceptions!

 EVERYONE WILL ASCEND IN 2012 OR LATER, WHENEVER WE SO CHOOSE.

 There may be some individuals who are not ready to ascend.  They may choose to remain within a 3^rd dimensional society or need to learn additional lessons that can be learned only on the 3^rd dimension.  They may not be ready to give up their hatred, need for revenge, prejudice, greed, power issues, and still need to feel superior to others less fortunate.  Some may simply be happy with their 3^rd dimensional lifestyles and not be ready to give it up.

For these, the choice to remain on 3^rd dimension entails a move to another planet—very likely a totally unconscious move of which they will have no awareness that anything has changed.  Loving spiritual guides will continue to be with them … they will continue to live and move and have their being [v] within the energy of God’s love, just as we all are at this very moment.  Since GOD IS ALL THAT IS, there is nowhere where God is not.  The difference between 3^rd dimension and 5^th dimension is that on the 3^rd, we continue to learn via suffering and believe ourselves to be separate from God.  On the 5^th dimension, there is no suffering and we have ascended into the higher consciousness of knowing we are One with God … we are consciously aware of living with only Love, only Joy, only Abundance, only Peace.

But, what if this is not true and we end up in Hell?

Even though many churches no longer speak of hell, many Christians—even those who have left the church—retain pockets of fear generated years ago by hell fire and brimstone preaching heard during childhood.

 THERE IS NO HELL.

What about those who say they have nothing to worry over … that are born again?

Love is the key to Ascension.  Love and the release of all negativity, such as the need for revenge or to be superior—to lord it over another human being.

THE RELEASE OF ALL NEGATIVITY IS IMPORTANT because Universal Law is “Like Attracts Like.  Therefore, if the individual’s energy field contains pockets of negativity, they will be attracted to a 3^rd or 4^th dimension, which still contain the positive and negative vibrations.

The Universal Law of Like attracts Like is one reason believing we are born again can be insufficient.  No one can release our own need to hate or seek revenge but us … no one can do it for us.

 IN SUMMARY

 Ascension is to attain the mind that was in Christ Jesus and therefore, there is no reason for fear.

On the other hand, we are now living within the last two months of 2012 and we are faced with two major decisions.

1.  Do I want to ascend?

2.  Am I ready to VOTE in accordance with the way God thinks?   Can I discern which candidate has the capacity to help us create an ascended society?

Both candidates are having to use campaign talking points that can be understood on our present 3^rd dimensional plane of residence.  So, in order to vote in accordance with the way God thinks, we must ascend in our thinking to a level enabling us to discern which of the candidates will best assist us in creating a 5^th dimensional culture.

“Is reincarnation cheap grace?”

“Does reincarnation take away from the role of Jesus in God’s plan of salvation?”

In order to answer these questions, we must consider traditional Christianity’s doctrines relating to Jesus, grace, and the human condition.

In 325 C.E., the ecumenical council of Church Fathers, meeting in Nicaea, adopt the Nicene Creed⁸⁹ as the means by which the worldwide church maintains one and the same doctrine. With the advent of the Protestant Reformation, numerous creeds are developed by the various “break-away” Christian groups. However, the powerful influence of the Nicene Creed persists, even within those denominations that profess to have no creed. The beliefs set forth in the Nicene Creed permeate our Christian psyche. Christians have read the Bible through the lens of the Nicene Creed for seventeen hundred years. Today, it is the creed often used during Services of Communion.⁹⁰ (This endnote includes the Nicene Creed in its entirety.)

“Who is Jesus according to the Nicene Creed?”

“We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven … for our sake he was crucified … he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father … with the Father and the Son he [the Holy Spirit] is worshiped and glorified.”

On the basis of this description of Jesus rests our misconceptions of his true identity, his role in the salvation of humanity, and humanity’s condition. Fierce controversies over Jesus’ divinity versus his humanity, or combination thereof, are raged by Christians for hundreds of years. Ruthless debates over humanity’s original sin, humanity’s deprived state, and God’s need for a blood sacrifice fill the pages of numerous theological treatises. With the concept of reincarnation deemed heresy, the horrendous doctrine of double predestination is devised as a means to explain the presence of unmitigated evil in the world.⁹¹ (Endnote contains added information.) Theologians are forced to talk around their elbows and back in an effort not to punch holes in the above creed.

Ponder the above words from the Nicene Creed. What do they tell you about Jesus? Jesus is said to be God. Jesus is to be worshipped as the sacrificial lamb, thus the vicarious atonement for our sins. By implication, God is a God who cannot bring himself to forgive humanity without a blood sacrifice of his beloved Son. Seldom expressed verbally, the grasping fingers of subliminal fear paralyze Christians into obeying when the church hierarchy commands, “Do not question God’s actions. You will lose your faith if you do.”

The assumed truth in the Nicene Creed is that humanity is down below God and Jesus, separate from them. By default, humanity is of a different nature—a nature that so angers God a blood sacrifice is required. God’s unconditional love and unlimited grace, as displayed in the opportunity to reincarnate, has no place in the creedal theology. Though Christians have tried to have faith in a God of love, fear prevails. How often have I heard, “I know God loves me because he gave his only Son to die for me.” In the search for security in a world ruled by an angry God, Christians regularly ignore their nagging intuitive hunches: “Requiring the death of one son, so that others might live, cannot be right.”

Fear is rarely admitted. I hear it when a bereaved person comforts himself with the words, “I’m sure she went to heaven. She was so good.” Though not a conscious part of his daily life, the belief in hell rises to the surface when the individual is confronted with death. The human psyche is deeply scarred with the church’s teaching of a physical place called hell, created by a God who intends to punish some individuals for eternity. As long as the church ignores the fact of reincarnation, hell remains the only method for God’s justice to work itself out.

Yet hell, as a place for some to spend eternity, is not biblical. Rocco Errico offers a word study. The English term hell comes from the Anglo-Saxon hel, meaning a hidden place. Hel comes from the verb form helan meaning to hide. Thus the English root word for hell, helan, has nothing to do with hell-fire. Biblical translators used the word hell to translate two different Semitic words: gehenna or gehenna dnoora in Aramaic (the language of Jesus) and sheol in Hebrew.

Sheol comes from the Hebrew root word shalal meaning to be still, quiet. The ancient Hebrews believe sheol to be a place beneath the earth’s surface where those who die, both good and bad, are inactive and quiet. They await judgment or resurrection day. It is a temporary resting place in the underworld.

The Aramaic gehenna dnoora refers to the “Valley of Hinnom.” During the first century C.E., Gehenna Dnoora is the garbage dump for Jerusalem. Located outside the city, people bring garbage to Gehenna Dnoora and burn it. The Judean king, Ahaz (735-715 B.C.E.), uses this valley to offer sacrifices to idols. Here, in the Valley of Hinnom, King Ahaz sends his son to the flames as a human sacrifice to the gods. As a result of these sacrifices, the valley Gei Hinnom becomes a Semitic term for hell.⁹² The Old Testament sheol and the New Testament gehenna dnoora in no way refer to a place established by God for eternal punishment.

Revelation 21:8 is another verse that seems, on the surface, to verify the Christian concept of hell: “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, the murderers, the fornicators, the sorcerers, the idolaters, and all liars, their place will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Throughout Revelation, sulfur appears in relationship to the eternal fires.⁹³ On the mundane level, sulfur is a natural element found in protein. Protein is essential to the well-being of our physical bodies. Hidden wisdom uses sulfur as an alchemical symbol.⁹⁴ Alchemy, as defined by Webster, is the “power or process of transforming something common into something special.” Thus sulfur in combination with the eternal fire is the means by which souls are transformed “from something common into something special.” The second death is therefore death to the lower self (or something common) so that the something special can be resurrected. Revelation is speaking of the astral plane where all negativity is eventually transmuted and resurrected into something special.

Hell, as a place of eternal punishment, is not biblical. God truly is love.

Sadly the misconceptions of the church render Christians paralyzed with fear. Although many ministers and laypersons say they no longer believe in hell, no concentrated effort is made to correct this destructive doctrine. It is simply ignored. To ignore it does not alleviate fear. Instead, the fear is repressed, giving it power far beyond our recognition.

Why, when the minister who attempts to present new insights is silenced, does she acquiesce? Why is the layperson hesitant to ask the questions that really concern him. For the minister, loss of the particular pulpit may lead to a more open congregation. For the parishioner, loss of status within the church community is far less restricting than repressing questions springing from the soul. The healing of subliminal fear of an unpredictable God awaits the church’s awakening to and proclamation of Truth.

As I continue to share the story of my search for Truth, I pray you will have the courage to explore with me and recognize for yourself, God is Absolute Love.

“What does Jesus teach?”

Throughout the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus refers to himself as the Son of Man, thus emphasizing his prototype human role. This prototype human concept of himself is reinforced throughout his teachings.

Jesus repeatedly shifts the attention from himself to “his Father in heaven.” In Matthew 8, an individual suffering from leprosy approaches Jesus, asking to be healed. Jesus touches the man’s scaly skin, saying, “Be made clean.” As the man is healed, Jesus commands him to go to the temple and offer a gift of thanksgiving to God. Jesus deflects the credit for the healing from himself to God.

Mark 10:17-22 relates the story of a rich man running up to Jesus. “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus corrects him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone.” Then Jesus answers the man’s question according to his individual soul’s needs. Jesus senses that this wealthy man is attached to his material possessions. His soul needs to learn at least three lessons this incarnation: 1) detachment from riches as his source of supply; 2) sharing his possessions with others; and 3) looking to God alone as his source of abundant supply. Grieving, the man turns away—he is not ready to learn.

That Jesus views himself as the prototype human is obvious in Luke 6:40. “A disciple is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully qualified will be like the teacher.” Jesus expects his disciples to develop the same level of spiritual maturity he exhibits. He is frustrated with their failure to do so.

While the disciples are rowing across the Sea of Galilee, a storm splashes waves into the boat. Fearful for their lives, the disciples call to Jesus to wake up and save them. After calming the sea, Jesus questions his disciples, “Why are you afraid? Have you still no faith?”⁹⁵ Jesus expects them to have the faith needed to calm the sea. Instead, they simply look at him in awe.

The disciples seem unable to comprehend Jesus’ expectations of them. On another occasion, Jesus is teaching a crowd of five thousand men in a deserted place. As dusk approaches, his disciples grow uneasy. They want Jesus to dismiss the crowd so they can go into the villages, find a place to spend the night, and purchase some food. Jesus expects the disciples to solve the problem: “You give them something to eat.”⁹⁶ Once more the disciples do not know what to do.

Jesus places himself on par with the disciples and the rest of humanity. He teaches us to address God as “our Father” when we pray.⁹⁷ In his teachings, he refers to God as “your Father in heaven.”⁹⁸ Jesus indicates the familial relationship we share with him: “For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Our Father, your Father, my Father—we and Jesus have the same relationship to God. Because Jesus, as prototype human, is so far beyond our present demonstrated abilities, we believe ourselves to be less than he in the eyes of God. In reality, Jesus, as prototype human, reveals the goal of reincarnation.

John’s gospel presents the most vivid display of Jesus’ knowledge that he is prototype man. The above portion of the Nicene Creed is based on the Church Fathers’ interpretation of John 1:1-18. Jesus is equated with the Word. The creed affirms Jesus as true God from true God. As a result, reading the gospel of John through the lens of the Nicene Creed can be a confusing experience.

In contrast to the Nicene Creed, Christian Gnosticism equates the Word with the spirit of God indwelling Jesus and every other human being. As I state in Chapter Three at: http://www.pathwaytoascension.com/bible_reincarnation.html,  the Gnostics are reincarnationists. Scholars, not bound by orthodoxy, believe Gnostics to be the descendants of the original Christians and the inheritors of the hidden wisdom Jesus gives only to his disciples.⁹⁹ The Greek meaning of christos is the Christ, the anointed one, the Messiah. Gnostics teach that the Christ is the divine spirit in every being.¹⁰⁰ Jesus is called the Christ because he has evolved spiritually to the point of being filled with the Spirit. In his prayer for all his followers, Jesus prayed, “As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us.”¹⁰¹ Gnostics equate the Word with the Christ. Making this distinction between Jesus and the Christ Spirit indwelling all beings opens the door to the hidden wisdom teachings of Jesus, including reincarnation.

The goal of reincarnation is to become one with God—to become so filled with the Christ Spirit that we, like Jesus, are manifesting as the Christ. Reading the Bible with the lens of gnosticism is a thrilling adventure. The Bible, especially John’s gospel, comes alive with personal meaning. Through the lens of gnosticism, the Bible is your story and my story, the narrative of our souls’ journey back to God. Read through the lens of the Nicene Creed, the Bible is the story of a faraway God periodically intervening within the historical setting of a helpless humanity.

John’s gospel is filled with teachings of Jesus that are ignored by subscribers to the Nicene Creed. They fall on deaf ears because a Christianity based on the Creed presents Jesus as the God Man to be worshipped. To traditional Christians, relating to Jesus as an equal is a foreign concept.

Jesus makes the distinction between himself as the man and the indwelling Spirit of the Father: “Very truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise.”¹⁰²

“I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just, because I seek to do not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”¹⁰³

“My teaching is not mine but his who send me.”¹⁰⁴

“I do nothing on my own, but I speak these things as the Father instructed me … I declare what I have seen in the Father’s presence; as for you, you should do what you have heard from the Father.”¹⁰⁵

“Whoever believes in me believes not in me but in him who sent me … I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak … What I speak, therefore, I speak just as the Father has told me.”¹⁰⁶

“The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own; but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”¹⁰⁷

The climax of Jesus’ teaching regarding humanity’s status within the divine cosmic plan in found in John 14:12: “The one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will go greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.”

Jesus is the prototype man, the example we are to follow, not to worship. Believing Jesus to be a divinity we are to worship renders his teachings unfathomable.

Jesus’ metaphor of the vine beautifully illustrates the sameness of the Word or Christ spirit within Jesus and humanity. In John 15, Jesus teaches, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinegrower … I am the vine, you are the branches.” Remember, Jesus speaks the words of his Father or the Christ Spirit within him. When Jesus states, “I am the true vine,” he is channeling the words of the Christ Spirit. In other words, the Christ Spirit (which dwells within each of us) informs us through Jesus, “I [the Christ Spirit] am the true vine.” Jesus is the spokesperson for the Christ Spirit.

In Palestine, grape vineyards are a common sight. Anyone hearing Jesus’ words will immediately know that the grapes are produced on the branches. His metaphor unveils the true relationship of humanity with the Christ Spirit and God. God, as the vinegrower, is the Creator God of John 1:1. The life force through which the vine comes into being is the Word, or Christ Spirit (the only begotten Son). This life force not only fills the vine, but also its branches—humanity. It is the life that is the light of all people. We, the branches, are to bear the fruit, to do all the works that Jesus did and more. As a member of the human race, Jesus is one of the branches.

Let us now read that most beloved verse of the New Testament, John 3:16: “For God so loved the world [or humanity] that he gave his only Son [the Christ Spirit within each of us], so that everyone who believes in him [the indwelling Christ Spirit] may not perish but may have eternal life.”

The true source of eternal life is the Christ Spirit within humanity and all of creation. Continuing in John 3, we read,

“Indeed, God did not send the Son [the Christ Spirit] into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him [the Christ Spirit]. Those who believe in him [the Christ Spirit] are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God [the Christ Spirit dwelling within each of us]. And this is the judgment, that the light [the Christ Spirit as the life force of all creation] has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For all who do evil hate the light and do not come to the light [or recognize the Christ Spirit within], so [under the false assumption] that their deeds may not be exposed. But those who do what is true come to the light [come to know the Christ Spirit within themselves], so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God [as branches of the vine God implanted on Earth].¹⁰⁸

Returning to the Nicene Creed, we find it states, “For our sake he was crucified.” As stated in chapter three, the early followers of Jesus were compelled by the pressures of their cosmopolitan society to answer the question: “Why do you call ‘Teacher’ a man the Roman government sentenced to death for treason?” They answer the questions within the context of their religious experiences.

Christianity grows out of the Jewish religion. Throughout Old Testament times and into the first century C.E., the Jewish religion is sacrificial. Just as we have evidence of two levels within Jesus’ teachings (the parables for the crowds and the hidden wisdom for the disciples alone), ¹⁰⁹ the Judaic sacrifice has two levels.

Rituals of worship within the Jewish religion include the sacrifice of animals up to the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 C.E. John the Baptist (as depicted in John 1:29, 35) uses a metaphor, derived from his religious background¹¹⁰ to refer to Jesus: “Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”¹¹¹ Likewise the gospel writers tend to explain Jesus’ crucifixion within the mundane boundaries of the Jewish religion. However, an esoteric level of Judaism exists. This level is illustrated by the Old Testament prophet Isaiah: “Listen to the teaching of our God …. What to me is the multitude of your sacrifices? says the Lord; I have enough of burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of goats.” Instead of blood sacrifices, the Lord requests, “Wash yourselves; make yourselves clean; remove the evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil, learn to go good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.”¹¹² Words, incorporated into a Christian hymn as if they relate to Jesus’ sacrifice, are instead a part of the esoteric teachings of Judaism: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be like snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah proclaims the requirement for this cleansing: “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword.”¹¹³ God freely offers cleansing and abundance to all who are willing and obedient. Sacrifices are not needed.

Circumcision is a Jewish ritual of dedication to the Lord, similar to the ritual of baptism in the Christian church. Deuteronomy, one of the books in the Jewish Torah (or Book of Law) unveils the esoteric level of circumcision. “The Lord your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, so that you will love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, in order that you may live.”¹¹⁴ Physical manifestations or rituals are simply a reminder of higher, spiritual Truth. They do not constitute the means of salvation.

How does Jesus answer when questioned, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” As we see in the example of the rich man, Jesus responds to this question according to the individual’s stage of spiritual maturity. For this particular rich man, Jesus prescribes, “Go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor.”¹¹⁵ He knows this man cannot enter the kingdom of heaven as long as he remains attached to his material possessions—in other words chained to the mundane level of spirituality. This answer causes problems for some Christians. Does Jesus mean being rich disqualifies us from entering heaven?

Zacchaeus is a wealthy tax collector living in Jericho. Tax collectors are uniformly hated because they cheat the people. Upon meeting and having Jesus in his home for a meal, Zacchaeus repents: “Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, ‘Look, I will give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I will pay back four times as much.’” Jesus does not suggest to Zacchaeus that he sell his possessions. Zacchaeus offers to share his possessions, to balance his negative karmic debt by returning four times as much as he has unfairly taken from the people. Jesus’ response to Zacchaeus is totally different from his answer to the rich man cited above. Each of us has specific soul lessons to learn this incarnation. Jesus reinforces Zacchaeus’ decision: “Today salvation has come to this house.”¹¹⁶ Zacchaeus continues to be a rich man. He can accomplish spiritual maturity, while remaining rich, because he willingly shares his abundance.

Jesus ends his praise of Zacchaeus with a curious statement if read through the lens of the Nicene Creed: “For the Son of Man came to seek out and to save the lost.”¹¹⁷ Traditional Christianity teaches that the only means of salvation is through the spilled blood of Jesus. This is not the teaching of Jesus. Zacchaeus is affirmed in his salvation on the basis of his own soul’s growth.

Since the goal of Jesus’ ministry is “to save the lost,” we would expect him to explain his means of doing so. Jesus urges us to follow him, to lay down our lives in service to others, to take up our cross, to do the things he does and more. When asked, “What is the greatest commandment,” Jesus turns all attention away from himself. “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”¹¹⁸

If Jesus makes no reference to himself when expounding upon the means of salvation, why does he allow himself to be crucified? Matthew, Mark, and Luke depict Jesus interpreting his forthcoming death within the religious milieu of his day—as the sacrificial lamb. He does this through the institution of the Lord’s Supper as he celebrates the Passover Feast with his disciples. In John’s gospel also, Jesus celebrates the Passover Feast with his disciples. He then washes their feet. He instructs them: “Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord—and you are right, for that is what I am. So, if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.”¹¹⁹ Jesus presents himself as prototype man.

In John 10:17-18, Jesus sets forth the reason for his crucifixion: “For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father.”

What is Jesus saying?

Read through the lens of the Nicene Creed, he is sacrificing his life because God commands it in order to save us from our sins. Read through the lens of hidden wisdom, Jesus is laying down his life in order to resurrect his physical body. “I have the power to take it up again.” God commands it because Jesus has attained a level of oneness with God, a level of divinity that enables him to resurrect his physical body as concrete proof that death does not exist. Jesus is the prototype man. He is a concrete revelation to humanity of the path that leads to eternal life.

He affirms his ability to resurrect himself earlier in John 2:19, 21: “Jesus answered them, ‘Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up’ …. He was speaking of the temple of his body.” Jesus is teaching on the level of hidden wisdom, but the people connect his words to the physical temple in Jerusalem. Orthodox Christianity also interprets his teachings on the physical level. Read through the lens of Gnosticism and reincarnation, the Bible overflows with the secret teachings of Jesus and his predecessors.

Salvation of human beings is found throughout the Bible and is not limited to or dependent upon the death of Jesus. The life-giving force of the Word, the only begotten Son of God, is within all of humanity. Jesus, as prototype man, precedes us in his re-union with God. He is the Wayshower, the man who saves us by demonstrating and revealing the Way back home. We may require numerous additional lifetimes on earth before we can add the Christ after our name. God’s grace is eternal, awaiting that day.

Does the belief in reincarnation render God’s grace cheap? Orthodox Christians answer, “yes” because, for them, the only means of salvation is through the shed blood of Jesus—thus costly grace. Reincarnationists respond, “No.” For them, costly grace is lazy grace. Orthodox Christianity teaches that Jesus “did it all”; Christians have only to believe. Reincarnationists know that many lifetimes are required in order to develop the self-discipline and to integrate the hidden wisdom sufficiently to fulfill Jesus’ command, “Be perfect, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

Does acceptance of reincarnation take away from the status of Jesus as the central figure in Christianity? Orthodox Christianity once more responds “yes” for the same reason cited above. Reincarnationists rejoice in their reply “no.” Jesus is the prototype man, the human being whose own triumph over lower self promises the same capacity to each of us. We are all to become Christed beings.

God is Love.

91 DOUBLE PREDESTINATION states that God, at the time of creation, foreordains some souls to eternal bliss, some to eternal damnation. Augustine, one of the early Church Fathers, evolved a doctrine of predestination which stressed “it is God’s choice and action, taken without regard for human merit foreseen, which at once starts people on the road to salvation and enables them to persevere in it.” [Williston Walker, A History of the Christian Church (New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1985) 209.] Though Augustine did not go so far as to teach those souls not selected by God are foreordained to eternal damnation, his doctrine did so by implication. Acceptance of the extreme theory of double predestination waxed and waned throughout Christian history, with its culmination in John Calvin. Calvin goes beyond Augustine and explicitly asserts double predestination. His doctrine states that the reprobation of those not elected is a specific determination of God’s inscrutable will. [John Calvin, Institutes of the Christian Religion trans. Ford Lewis Battles, ed. John T. McNeill (Philadelphia: The Westminster Press) 1viii.] Reprobation means foreordained to damnation. Calvin taught anxiety over whether or not one is among the elect is to be considered a temptation by Satan. [Calvin 1iz.] It is doctrines like double predestination that have permeated the Christian psyche with fear. Even when the doctrine is denied on the conscious level, the subconscious continues submerged in the fear “what if?” Imprisoned by fear of a capricious God, Christians have understandably been very hesitant to read the Bible with any other than the traditional lens. Such doctrines have deprived Christians of much joy.

ONE GOD – A MESSAGE OF PREPARATION FOR 2012

NOTE:  Although I posted this message earlier this year, I am re-posting it with a different slant.  To truly know Creator God and ourselves as “made in God’s image” is essential as we prepare for 2012.  Because December 21, 2012 marks the end of an approximate 26,000 years cycle, called the Precession of Equinoxes, Earth humans have the opportunity to ascend en masse from the 3rd dimensional plane of duality to the 5th dimensional plane of Love & Light.  Most of us will do so while in our physical bodies, which are presently being transformed into crystalline bodies by the intense influx of spiritual energies onto our planet.  We prepare for ascension by setting aside the old belief system of separation from God and allowing the New Truth of made in the image of God to saturate our conscious awareness and activities.

           Our ability, to assist in bringing forth the Kingdom of God within ourselves and on our planet, depends first and foremost on understanding who God is (to the best of our present ability to do so).  The Apostle Paul explained his concept of God to the people of Athens.  Metaphysically, Athens signifies the intellectual center within humankind.  The people in Athens had erected an altar inscribed:  “This is the altar of the unknown God.”  Paul recognized that even though the Athenians did not know God, they felt the urge to worship something greater than they could conceive with their intellectual minds.  Paul explains in Acts 17:24-28:

“For the God who made the world and all things therein, and who is the Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is he ministered to by human hands, nor is he in need of anything, for it is he who gave life and breath to all humankind.  And he has made of one blood all nations of human beings to dwell on all the face of the earth, and he has appointed seasons by his command, and has set limits to the age of men and women; for in him we live and move and have our being, as some of your wise men have said, ‘For we are his kindred.’”

God is above and beyond all else and present everywhere.  As omnipresent Spirit, God created all that is, in its original manifestation; God is First Cause and original Source.  The allegorical story of the Garden of Eden is an example of the Goodness and Love with which God creates.  God provided for all of Adam and Eve’s needs; they lived in the luxury and beauty of paradise.  God walked with and talked with them.  The channels of vision and direct hearing were open to Adam and Eve.  God was their companion and friend.  Negativity and pain were unknown.  They had no doubt as to their origin: they came forth from the heart and mind of God.  They wore the clothes of spirit; they were spirit.

In this Garden of Eden, all things were created from the divine substance.  God beheld all of creation and declared, “It is Good.”  God creates because God is Creator.  All that God creates become co-creators.  Creation is an on-going process and the energy of creation is within all things.  Look at nature:  seeds create plants … plants create leaves, flowers, and fruit … stars create new stars … stars create light … rivers create beds through which to flow … birds create nests … animals create offspring according to their kind … human beings create children … the process of creation stretches throughout  eternity.  All things are interconnected; all of creation impacts upon all other facets of creation.  The life-giving energy within all things is God energy … divine energy … love energy.  GOD IS ALL THAT IS.  SEPARATION DOES NOT EXIST.  BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE, ALL THINGS ARE LOVED.

God needs nothing.  In the words of Paul:  “Neither is he ministered to by human hands, nor is he in need of anything.”  God’s life-giving breath dwells within all creation.  God is life; without God, there is no life.  God needs nothing from humankind.  God is not dependent upon humanity or any portion of creation.  God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, whether or not human beings worship him, obey his commandments, or allow him to manifest through them.  God simply Is.

“God … appointed seasons by his command.”  God created universal laws by which all of creation is bound.  The Sun rises every morning.  The stars are visible at night.  The Moon reflects the Sun’s light.  Spring always follows winter.  All of life moves through cycles, or seasons.  Creation is an orderly process.  Corn seeds produce corn, not tomatoes.  Oak trees produce acorns, not fragrant roses.  Universal laws do not change.  We can count on them to manifest in our lives according to the way we use them.  It is by these universal laws that human beings create, whether consciously or unconsciously.

“And he has made of one blood all nations of humankind to dwell on all the face of the earth….”  God created humanity as one family; we are all offspring of the One Mother/Father God.  We were created to live together on this planet in the Garden of Eden.  God created humanity as Daughters and Sons in her/his image and likeness.  That means we were created to love, to live in paradise, to live in obedience to universal laws, to express our divinity.

What happened?

Humanity was created in the image of God and given the gift of freewill.  That means we possess the freedom to choose.  The gift of freewill was granted so that we could grow up to be gods and goddesses, true offspring of God.  Needless to say, humanity has made some mistakes.

We have created a world in which we believe in separation.  All kinds of separation.  We have forgotten who we are and why we are in physical bodies on this planet.  We have created a relationship with God that is based on fear:  fear of not going to heaven, fear of being punished for eternity in hell, fear that God will zap us unexpectedly, fear that God will not hear and answer our prayers, and fear of surrendering to the unfolding of God’s divine will in our lives.  We attempt to camouflage this fear; but, as long as we can sincerely state,  “God can do anything God chooses to do,” we have not allowed Truth to erase our fear.  God cannot do anything God chooses.  God is a God of Love and therefore, can do nothing that is not loving.  God gave us the gift of freewill, therefore, God cannot take away that gift or punish us for our mistaken decisions. GOD CAN ONLY LOVE US.   In that love, God patiently awaits our awakening to the true nature of all that is.   When we finally call out for help, God’s grace flows forth unimpeded, except by our own resistance to change.  We are loved beyond our capacity to conceive.  The problem is:  we have created a concept of God in our own image or worse.  We blame God for our suffering, pain, and limitations.  We have it all wrong.

During my days as a traditional minister, I sometimes presented the Children’s Lesson.  Heretofore, the youngest children had seen only male ministers dressed in a black robe.  One Sunday, when the children came to the front of the church for the lesson, I, a female minister wearing a white robe, met them.  One little boy looked up at me and said, “Are you God?”  I smile at his innocence and shudder to realize that all too often, we consider God “the man upstairs.”

This “man upstairs” concept of God leaves humanity feeling separated, and sometimes, even estranged from God.  We know all too well the unpredictability of humankind.  The “man upstairs” can be absent from our lives; he can fail to hear our prayers.  He can be preoccupied with other things.  It is easier to get angry with the “man upstairs” than it is to love him.

On the other hand, many call God “First Cause” or the “Source.”  Even though the titles are true, many then proceed to view God as far away and unattached to what happens to human beings.  The sense of separation becomes a chasm too great to cross.  We hear people say, “God doesn’t need me” or “God is too vast (or great) to pay attention to little me.”  In other words, “Why would First Cause love me?”  “Why would the Source consider me worth listening to?”  Either way, God is seen as far away and unrelated to our daily lives.

In Truth, God is that energy of love that is everywhere present.  God is the divine substance from which all things are made.  There is nowhere where God is not.  In an effort to reveal our true relationship to God, Jesus taught us to address him as “Abba.”  Abba translates from the Aramaic as “father,” but possesses the connotation of the intimate relationship we share with “daddy or dad.”   To the western ear, “father” sounds more formal.  It is a term of respect, whereas “daddy or dad” is most often a term of affection and close relationship.  The term “mom” will work just as well.  The important issue is that we learn to communicate with God as a being of infinite love for us, his/her divine offspring.

Knowing God as our loving parent … as that being of love that is always present with us … who is all-powerful … and who wants only the Garden of Eden for us creates a tremendous shift in our view of life and of ourselves.  As God’s offspring, we realize we are never alone …  we are all-powerful … and that the Garden of Eden is already ours.  Our task becomes allowing that paradise to manifest in our daily lives.

God is the Mind of the Universe.  Just as our hearts are directly linked to the Heart of God through love, so our minds are directly linked to the Mind of God through our capacity to think and to intuit.  This link to the Mind of God is how we create; we create with our thoughts.  It is how we receive inspiration: we are inspired through our intuitive insights.  We often see evidence of our connectedness to the Mind of God or the One Mind, in the synchronicities that occur in our lives.  For example:  we think of a friend and she appears on our doorstep unannounced.  Or, we pray for a wheelchair ramp and a member of our church announces he has one for sale.  We are all connected to the Mind of God and thereby, to each other.  Wherever we are, there is no separation.  Death does not exist, so those in spirit are not separated from those of us presently residing on the physical plane.  We feel separated because we lost our original ability to see into the world of spirit as easily as we perceive the physical plane.  We can be separated only by belief in separation.

Within the One Mind and Heart of God, “we live and move and have our being.”

As offspring of God, we have the capacity to be all that our Mother/Father God is:  all loving and all powerful, possessing the ability to create all Good in our lives, and holding the potential to transform our world.  We, the offspring of Mother/Father God, can bring forth the Kingdom of God within ourselves and on Earth.

We, as offspring of God, are called to recognition of our true identities and to prepare ourselves and world for Mass Ascension into Higher Consciousness in 2012 and beyond!

       The occupation of Wall Street in the USA and the demonstrations taking place all over Planet Earth are indications that people are awakening and demanding change.  We, the people of the world, are declaring our independence.  This time, our independence is not simply to enable us to build peaceful, prospering nations, but the foundation upon which we are to build our galactic culture and to be re-united with our galactic brothers and sisters.

Planet Earth is declaring her independence; she is preparing for membership within the Galactic Federation of Light.  No longer will Earth be a prison planet.  No longer will a few have the capacity to imprison the many via manipulation—subtle and blatant—, lies, and cover-ups.  People around the planet can now behold the beginnings of the New Way slowly emerging.

The American Declaration of Independence holds value as one source of guidance in building a galactic culture.  Let’s take a look.

       “We hold these Truths to be self-evident” – to be self-evident means to need no proof, to be beyond question.  Truths that are self-evident are in accordance with Cosmic (or Creator God’s) Law.  In other words, we are declaring our independence in accordance with the Cosmic Laws of Creator God.  These Cosmic Laws supersede all man-made laws.  Even when—for a period of time—these Laws are circumvented, the natural, cyclic movement of the cosmos will return to resonance with Creator God’s Law.  All movement within the cosmos is toward healing.  A galactic society is based upon these same self-evident Truths.

“That all Men are created equal” – written in the vernacular of the 1700s, these words could now be changed to:  That all Human Beings are created equal.  This affirmation is radical and pregnant with esoteric meaning.  When living in accordance with Creator God’s Cosmos Law, there is no separation into economic and social classes … no discrimination for any reason.  There is One Truth—Cosmic Truth.  All people come from the Divine Source as equal Parts of the Whole.  No human being originates from sexual intercourse or the union of sperm and egg.  No human being is an accident.  We are mistaken when we view a child as an accident, illegitimate, born of incest or rape.  As an integral Part of the Whole, the Soul—granting life to a physical body—incarnated in accordance with that Soul’s Plan.  Every human being is present on Earth for a sacred purpose.  No human being is dispensable.  All [human beings] are created equal.

“That they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.”

Unalienable or inalienable rights means the rights granted by Creator God, rights that cannot be permanently taken away.  Unalienable rights are intrinsic; they are part of who every human being is.  Many on Earth presently suffer from the deprivation of their unalienable rights, but those rights are still an essential part of who they are.  That’s why we are now seeing people around our planet rise up in rebellion.  Who we are—as Parts of the Whole—is giving us a cosmic push to re-unite with our true being.  We are awakening to Ourselves.

“That among these are Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness.”  Since these unalienable rights are granted by Creator God, we must ask:  What type of Life would our Creator give?  What type of Liberty would our Creator grant?  What did Creator God have in mind when gifting all human beings with the unalienable right to Pursuit of Happiness?

The unalienable right to Life is not simply the right to breathe, to exist on this planet.  Life, in God’s Eyes, means the unalienable right to thrive, to become all that every human being can be within an environment of unconditional Love and appreciation for individual uniqueness.

The unalienable right to Liberty does not mean the mere right to move around freely.  Liberty, in God’s Eyes, entails the unalienable right to be exactly who each human being is.  If one individual desires to become an engineer, the unalienable right to Liberty is the freedom to be educated in accordance with that desire.  All Parts of the Whole—incarnated in human bodies—possess the unalienable right to fulfill their individual Soul Plan, without being obstructed by lack of money, discrimination, or for any other reason.  Liberty is an unalienable right to be used for fulfilling a Divine Purpose—that of living out the Soul’s Mission for entering physical incarnation.

The unalienable right to Pursuit of Happiness is not simply the right to live it up, to have a ball with no thought of tomorrow.  The Pursuit of Happiness, in God’s Eyes, is the unalienable right to pursue the activities that make our hearts sing for joy … the endeavors that are a genuine expression of who we are as an individual manifestation of God—as one Part of the Whole.

We, as a society, have largely ignored this unalienable right, believing it to be pie in the sky.  Instead, we have oriented our lives around clichés that are actually lies propagated as a subtle means of control by those who would have Earth remain a prison planet.  “Such is life” … “God gave us common sense to use” … “I must do what I must do to survive.”  These statements become obstacles to our innate capacity to dream, to be inspired, to follow the path of our Soul, to allow our true identity to unfold.

The Declaration of Independence includes a long list of grievances that prevented the colonists from fulfilling their unalienable right to the Pursuit of Happiness.  Today, the people of planet Earth are declaring their independence from the wrongs inflicted upon us by the power elite.  We are awakening to our heritage as Parts of the Divine Whole.

“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed.”  Just as there is Cosmic Law, there is also a Spiritual Hierarchy that constitutes a divine government responsible for Earth and other planets.  We, as Parts of the Whole, have the unalienable right to petition the Spiritual Hierarchy and request a dispensation regarding a particular concern.  As we become increasingly aware of our galactic family’s presence with us, fulfilling the role of our elder brothers and sisters, we can witness the manifestation of one dispensation made by the Spiritual Hierarchy.

Quoting the Maha Chohan, an office within the Spiritual Hierarchy, a dispensation was given to Lord Sanat Kumara of Venus regarding Earth.

       “A Sun Council was called when the Earth had reached its lowest ebb, when there seemed no possibility for it to contribute to the Light of the solar system. At this Conference among the Suns of this galaxy, it was decided that the planet Earth would be returned to primal essence because it was contributing no Light, no music, no constructive radiation to the universe of which it was a part. It was thought best to dissolve this planet, conserving life and returning the substance of the planet itself for re-polarization into the heart of Helios and Vesta. As conservation of life is an essential part of the Cosmic Law.

Lord Sanat Kumara was One among other great and Divine Beings from other stars, Suns and universes Who attended the Council. He went home to His planet determined in His heart to help the Earth. He did not sit in His courtyard surrounded by the magnificent Beings, the Kumaras, the Angels, Devas and His own people, in proximity to His beloved Divine Complement, Venus and just think it was too bad to see the Earth and all that belonged to it being discarded. Sanat Kumara, even One of the greatest of the mystics, had learned the Law of balance as well as Love and He pondered within Himself what He might do to sustain the Earth’s place in this system. He asked for the opportunity to give to the Earth His radiation and Light and to act through His developed capacities of thought, feeling and action, as Lord of the World for the Earth. As a result of this Dispensation, granted to a citizen of our Solar System, Earth and its inhabitants are now preparing to ascend to a higher level of consciousness.  It is within this higher level of consciousness that we will create a new government and re-unite with our galactic (or cosmic) family.

St. Germain – Avatar & Hierarch of the New Aquarian Age

       Although he ascended in 1684, St. Germain sought permission from the Spiritual Hierarchy’s Lords of Karma Board to continue to work on the 3^rd dimension and to appear as a physical being.  He retained his Ascended Master’s ability to appear and disappear in any number of bodies.

He appeared and disappeared throughout the courts of Europe as le comte de St. Germain – the Wonderman of Europe.  Voltaire described him to Frederick II of Prussia as a man who never dies and who knows everything.

St. Germain inspired the colonists to sign the Declaration of Independence.  He was present with George Washington during the winter at Valley Forge.  He worked closely with America’s Founding Fathers to create a nation in which all people were to be free in accordance with their unalienable rights.  When he was visible, he appeared as a mysterious old professor.

The early Americans created a Republic with high ideals.  However, we live on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality; we were unable to live in resonance with humanity’s unalienable rights.  Greed and power struggles became the behind-the-scenes rulers.  Soon, Americans were inflicting upon themselves the same grievances against which they had rebelled.  True revolution comes as a result of inner personal transformation, not exterior change.

For 235 years, Americans have lived with the Evils to which we are accustomed.  The people of the world have lived for thousands of years with the Evils to which they have become accustomed.

The time has come for the inhabitants of Earth to move forward … to create a new society based upon the unalienable rights of all human beings.  To do so is our Right … it is our Duty.

This new form of government is to become a 5^th dimensional Galactic One that will qualify us to join the Galactic Federation of Light.  This government will strive to carry out the Divine Plan for Earth and its inhabitants.  Greed, competition, power struggles, deprivation, discrimination, and mere existence will disappear, for the New Government will be established by people who have undergone inner transformations—they will work for the good of all in accordance with the Divine plan.

The old world is passing away.  Earth is ascending to the present location of Venus within our Solar System.  Earth humans are in the midst of creating a New World based on Unconditional Love for All.  We are fulfilling our Declaration of Independence.

It is our Right … it is our Duty!

My prayer for this week, during which the 10^th anniversary of 9/11 will be on center stage in every mainstream media, is that Earth humans will choose to think on the marvels that can be.

DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL?

Scripture:  John 5:1-5, 14

       “After this there was a festival of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.  Now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate there is a pool, called in Hebrew Bethesda, which has five porticoes.  In these lay many invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed.  One man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years.  When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been there a long time, he said to him, ‘Do you want to be made well?’  The sick man answered him, ‘Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; and while I am making my way, someone else steps down ahead of me.’  Jesus said to him, ‘Stand up, take your mat and walk.’  At once the man was made well, and he took up his mat and began to walk.

Later Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, ‘See, you have been made well!  Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you.’”

SETTING:  The setting for this story is Bethesda, a pool in Jerusalem with five porticoes, or porches.  The sick lie around this pool waiting for the angel of the Lord to appear and stir up the water.  They believe that the first person to step into the water, after the angel has stirred it, will be healed.

In Hebrew, Bethesda means “house of healing.”  Metaphysically, Bethesda symbolizes that point in our conscious awareness when we begin to feel Spirit flowing through us, cleansing us of our impurities.  Metaphysically, the five porches represent our five earth plane senses.

Thus the setting reveals that the sick lying on the porches are still attuned to their five senses, rather than to the ever-active healing power of God residing within them.  There are several ways in which their thoughts are imprisoning them in this pattern of dis-ease.

1.   They are waiting.  Anytime we orient our lives into a mode of “waiting,” that is what we create—waiting.

1. They are waiting for something outside themselves to appear and heal them.
2. They believe in limitation.  Only one person will be healed—the one who is first to step into the stirred waters.

4.  At least some of them view themselves as victim.  “I have no one to lift me into the water.”

You and I also sit around the pool of Bethesda.  How recently have you said, “I am waiting until …” in reference to a major goal in your life?  To what person or event outside of yourself are you looking for healing? … for that feeling of completeness? … for the courage to move forward with your life?  What factors in your life do you view as limiting your possibilities?  In what ways do you consider yourself to be a victim? … a victim of lack? … a victim of habit patterns? … a victim of illness?

JESUS APPEARS AT BETHESDA:  The physical location of  the story reveals an opportunity for each of us to life our consciousness to higher levels.  Jesus symbolizes the healing power of God dwelling within each of us.  Jesus chooses to speak to a man who has been ill for 38 years.  In numerology, 38 reduces to the number vibration of 11, telling us that this man is now approaching self-mastery.  He is ready to be healed by his own indwelling God presence.  He is ready to lift his conscious awareness above the physical plane of his five senses.  He is ready to be made well.

JESUS ASKS:  “DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL?”

This is an extremely important question that each of us must ask of ourselves:  “Am I  ready to be made well by my indwelling God presence?”  Until we are ready to be healed, healing can actually be disruptive to the soul’s progress – or – healing will not occur because dis-ease contains a pay-off for us that is greater than the perceived pay-off of a healing.  For example:  A person who uses illness to gain the attention and caring of others may find the possibility of a healing to be frightening.  If so, this person will resist the healing.  Or, if a particular dis-ease is healed, with no shift in the consciousness level of the patient, another dis-ease will soon manifest.  All true healing is founded upon a change in consciousness—a turning to the God within.  An affirmative answer to Jesus’ question, “Do you want to be made well?” is therefore essential.

THE MAN ANSWERS JESUS according to his sense perception, which renders him a victim:  “I have no one to put me into the pool.”  Viewing life through his five senses, the man sees himself as helpless in the face of deprivation and limitation.  Though he is ready to be healed, he is not yet aware of the healing power lying latent within himself.  But Spirit is stirring within him.  Jesus’ question meets a receptive soul, open to the possibility of healing.

Are you open and receptive to divine order unfolding in your life?  Are you ready to be healed of the error thought, painful emotion, or physical dis-ease that holds you prisoner to life as seen through the five senses?

JESUS DOES NOTHING; INSTEAD, HE SPEAKS THE WORDS OF HEALING BY THROWING THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ACTION BACK ON THE MAN:  “Stand up, take your mat and walk.”  The man is healed as he takes action.  A tremendous shift in consciousness had to take place in order for a man who has waited by the pool for 38 years to stand up and walk in obedience to Jesus’ command.  No longer is he waiting … no longer is he allowing thoughts of deprivation and limitation to imprison him in a diseased body … no longer is he expecting someone or something outside himself to perform the healing … no longer does he consider himself to be victim.  He takes action in response to an inner urging of Spirit.  He, like each of us, has the inner power to respond to Spirit by taking physical plane action in the very areas that have heretofore held him prisoner.  He has believed himself to be unable to walk—he gets up and walks.

In what areas of life do you believe yourself to be powerless to take affirmative action?  Your indwelling God presence would have you know that you have the power to “get up and walk.”

In the case of physical healing, Charles Fillmore (co-founder of the Unity Movement) reminds us that physiology describes the blood corpuscles as little batteries, each with a negative and a positive pole.  If these batteries are filled with the positive life force, they constantly electrify the body.  But if, through the power of our thoughts and words, we affirm the negative or our dis-ease, we rob these batteries of their natural electrifying energy.  We slow down their vitality by giving them an element of negation.  To hold negative thoughts in the mind is to stamp negation on the body.  To demonstrate perfect health, we must plant the knowledge of that perfection in our minds and body.  We must be attuned to the constant influx of Spirit establishing equilibrium within our bodies, independently of the traditional healing modalities of our culture.  Those persons waiting around the Pool of Bethesda were imprisoned by their faith in a traditional healing modality outside themselves—the stirring of the waters by an angel.

Lest anyone misunderstand, neither the Bible, Fillmore, nor I are recommending ignoring traditional medicine.  We are stating that the true source of all healing is within us in the form of our indwelling God presence.  It is as we attune consciously to this presence of Spirit that we are truly empowered to stand up, take our mat, and walk as a person healed of all dis-ease.

LATER THAT DAY, JESUS FOUND THE HEALED MAN IN THE TEMPLE.  Jesus cautioned him, “See, you have been made well!  Do not sin any more, so that nothing worse happens to you.”

Fillmore defines sin as “wrong thinking,” the belief in two powers—good and evil.  When Jesus warns the man not to sin any more, he is encouraging him not to allow himself to resume giving attention to the negative, not to once more focus on thoughts of limitation or dis-ease.

Then Jesus makes a curious statement, “so that nothing worse happens to you.”  In essence, Jesus is saying to the man, “if being healed after 38 years of negative thinking does not transform your conscious awareness, then something even more traumatic will be required to get your attention.  The same problem will repeat itself until we allow the Christ Consciousness to heal us completely—to move us beyond any tendency to revert to negative thinking or to be imprisoned by beliefs based on a perception of life through our five senses.

As we seek healing, we are to concentrate upon the flowing of the Spirit throughout our bodies, our minds, our emotions, and our lives.  We are to remember that through the power of God all things are made right and good.  We are to recall that God is Love, God is Good, and that God is all that is.  There is only one power in the universe.  All else is illusion, based on wrong thinking.  Belief in this One Power is our true source of healing and transformation into the Christed individual we are all to become.  Then, we too will possess the capacity to stand up, take up our mat, and walk as Christed beings!

 

JOBS, SOCIALISM, COMMUNISM, & FASCISM ARE NOT 5TH DIMENSION REALITIES

JOBS, SOCIALISM, COMMUNISM, & FASCISM ARE NOT 5^TH DIMENSIONAL REALITIES

       At the moment, our planet appears to hover on the edge of a steep cliff from which we are about to plunge into the dark, rocky unknown.  The cry for jobs is heartfelt … the threat of socialism, communism, fascism frightening.

What do these terms actually mean?  A job is something we regularly perform in exchange for wages and in accordance with someone else’s guidelines as to how we perform that job.  We may or may not enjoy our job, but hang onto it because our 3^rd dimensional reality tells us “jobs are scarce.”  We view ourselves as dependent upon others to provide us a job.  Although we may yearn to follow another occupation, we most often grit our teeth and work on our job until we can retire.   We put in our time, as we often explain with a sense of resignation to life as it appears to be.

Socialism is a word Americans throw around a lot—a dirty, dirty word.  Socialism is defined by Merriam-Webster as collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.  The characteristics of the collective or government will determine the quality of socialism.  We participate in many collectives and governmental forms of socialism and think nothing of it because we call them co-ops, churches/synagogues/mosques, national parks, Social Security, Veterans’ benefits, Medicare, Medicaid.

Communism is a term that sends shivers down our spine.  Merriam-Webster defines communism as a system that advocates the elimination of private property and in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed.  We live with all types of communism and think nothing of it:  religious convents and monasteries, the Jewish kibbutz in Israel, communes, even the ancient Essene Community at Qumran, Israel in which Jesus was a very familiar figure.

Fascism reminds us of Hitler and we quake in fear.  Merriam-Webster defines fascism as exalting the state—and often race—above the individual, a centralized government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.  After 9/11, Americans lived with fascist-like attitudes.  Patriotism and no criticism of our leaders were dominant qualities.  Affirmation that: I am a patriot took precedence over objectively searching for the truth regarding 9/11.  The public’s vehement opposition to anyone presenting a story differing from our government’s official statement held silent those who dared search for explanations and a more positive means by which to deal with conflict.  Many declare themselves to be patriots in compliance with the mob psychology into which democracies are so prone to descend.  Many have targeted Muslims as the objects of hate and fear.  Americans have created for themselves many characteristics of fascism and continue to live by them.

Thus, in one form or another, Earth humans have personally experienced each of the above:  a job, socialism, communism, and fascism.

The eternal part of ourselves, the Soul, remembers a time when life was idyllic.  That’s why we strive to create better lives for ourselves.  Accepting jobs as the only option available and the formation of these ideologies have been attempts to reclaim that idyllic life.  All have missed the mark because they were created on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality, by individuals who—within themselves—were a mixture of varying degrees of good and evil.

       2011-2012 proclaims a new Way of Life.  Into this mixture of political ideologies experienced in countries around our planet, the converging of cycles of time into one huge leap forward for Earth humans requires us to leave behind all our preconceived ideas and to create a 5^th dimensional, galactic society on Earth.  Our galactic family will join us … teach us the characteristics of a galactic society … share their technology … assist us in healing ourselves and the planet in preparation for ascension to the 5^th dimension of consciousness.

New concepts will increasingly be introduced to an Earth society that has existed for thousands of years while utilizing only about 10% of our brain power.  We have believed ourselves to be the only intelligent beings in Creator God’s vast cosmos.  Competition … survival of the fittest … the haves and have-nots … God as a distant entity, separate from us and on whom we blame our personal and environmental suffering—all of these beliefs and folkways must be left behind.

To leave behind life as we have known it and be open to creating a new and better society demands a total revamping of all that is familiar to us.  The recent debt crisis in Washington, D.C. provided a vivid several weeks portrayal of the futility of continuing to do things the old way.  A peaceful, loving society cannot be built upon a foundation of winners and losers, haves and have nots.  Life on the 5^th dimension is not an eternal football game in which we root for one team and celebrate the loss of another.  We must give up all that has caused us pain, deprivation, and loss of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  We must awaken to the ways by which we have been manipulated, used, and shackled—awaken to our true state as sovereign beings.

Heretofore, the various modes of government and organizations have been given names:  democracy, republic, socialism, communism, fascism according to the particular characteristics assigned to them.  Within our minds, we encase each category behind impenetrable walls that will not allow leakage of qualities from one classification to another.  We think, “Leakage is bad.”  We forget that all these forms have been attempts to create a well-functioning society on the 3^rd dimensional plane of duality that houses good and evil.

Jobs were created to assist the employer in accomplishing his goal.  Little thought is given to workers and the resulting ability for them to pursue happiness.  Jobs are a means of control, to render the workers dependent upon the whims of the employer.  In the majority of cases, personal creativity is stifled unless it directly improves the state of the employer.  The ever-present threat of losing my job keeps workers in line and numb to possibilities of self-fulfillment.  When workers do lose their jobs, they feel cast aside, helpless.  It can be devastating to self-esteem because we are judged by the jobs we hold.

       A 5^th dimensional galactic society will be very different.  Negativity no longer exists.  Suffering of any kind ceases.  However, we must first create this society, using the new concepts being revealed to us.  These concepts will resemble many that we have heretofore categorized as socialism, communism, or fascism.  The difference will be that we are creating a 5^th dimensional society in which they cannot be tainted by egos, manipulation, or power struggles.

The first of these concepts is, We are One.  We achieve this community of Oneness by moving beyond all discrimination, regardless of the reason, and recognizing the equal value of every individual.  At present, discrimination still plays a huge role in our planetary society.  It must cease.

The second concept is, We are every one a sovereign being.  All are granted—by our Creator God—the same inalienable rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  At present, this may translate into the basic rights of all to health care, to have meaningful input into the work setting, and to be recognized as the integral parts of society all are.

The third concept is, Every human being has a role to play in unfolding the Divine Plan for Earth.  No one else can play the divinely given role of another individual.  A 5^th dimensional galactic society honors the Divine Plan by allowing every one to follow the vocation to which he/she feels led.  Individual Astrological Soul Maps mirror the Divine Plan and act as the determining factor in guiding each child into the vocation that best fulfills the talents and yearnings of the individual and the Divine Plan.  Jobs will no longer exist.

The fourth concept is, There is no lack.  Within each of us resides the power to manifest abundance.  At present, we experience lack because we believe in it as one of the illusions that characterizes the 3^rd dimension.  We may begin the process of creating an abundant society for all by allowing the old financial system, on which the world economies are presently based, to collapse and instituting a new financial system that is fair to every human being.  Within a few years, money as we know it will become obsolete.  As we work with our galactic family in healing the earth, there will once more be an abundance of healthy foods and clean water.  There will be no more extremes of weather, no more need for fossil fuels.

The fifth concept is, There is no private property.  As we learn to manifest whatever we desire, there is no need for private property as we understand it today.  As sovereign beings, we will possess the capacity to manifest a beautiful home wherever we are for as long as we choose.  All is energy and can be returned to the creative ethers anytime.

The sixth concept is Cooperation, not competition, in accordance with the Divine Plan.  No more political parties to compete with each other; no more power struggles, no more selfish ego manipulations.  Our leaders are to be chosen solely on the basis of their willingness and capacity to lead by following the Divine Plan for Earth.  Spiritual maturity determines their readiness.  We are to evolve out of religions as we presently know them.  Because our leaders will be divinely qualified to lead according to God’s Plan for Earth, citizens can accept them as fulfilling their role in the Divine Design and freely cooperate with them.

The seventh concept is Worldwide Peace.  Wars and their systemic causes will cease to exist.  There can be no violence—psychological or physical—on the 5^th dimension.  Peacekeeping forces may be needed for a few years as we create our galactic society, but not permanently.

The eighth concept is, All is Love.  Love for all human beings is the foundation for government and its policies.  Children are reared in an atmosphere of love and appreciation for who they are as individuals.  To engage in the Arts—music, art, drama—will be an integral part of life.  Opportunities to learn will be endless and freely given.  Government and parenting are centered upon developing each human being to their fullest capacity.

The ninth concept is Service freely given to all.  Selfless service is recognized as a means to evolve spiritually and is freely given.  Service is also the way in which we participate in the unfolding of the Divine Plan.

The tenth concept is, Divine Spirit permeates all things.  Every facet of nature, every human being is known to be Divine Spirit in manifestation.  No longer will we treat the Earth or anything on it as not worthy of honor and appreciation.

       As you can see in the summary of characteristics of the 5^th dimension, they contain facets of the prior, multiple efforts Earth humans have made to govern.  It is important to remember that all 3^rd dimensional activities are created within a mixture of good and evil and therefore reap adverse effects, as well as some good.

Earth humans are also manipulated by the use of slogans, names, and tightly contained categories.  For example, “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” was the slogan many politicians used in the 2010 elections.  They got elected because Americans naively believed them.   It is incumbent upon all citizens to see through the political slogans and seek the truth about each politician’s intentions once in office.

The next months may be filled with confusion, chaos, and the need for discernment.  We can best deal with the multiple changes taking place by learning to think and discern truth for ourselves … by understanding that our present political environment was created by imperfect beings … and by being open to learn and adopt the new concepts characterizing the 5^th dimension.

Together, creating cooperatively, Earth humans will manifest a new 5^th dimensional galactic society on Earth!  Together, in love and peace, we will rejoice!

FOLLOWING OUR INDIVIDUAL ROAD MAP TO ASCENSION

NOTE BY NANCY:  Little did we know in 2011 just how long it would take to achieve the critical level of mass awakening that would enable us to make the required evolutionary leap in our ascension process.  Finally, in Fall 2014, we are beginning to awaken in great numbers.  I am reposting this article as it seems even more relevant to today’s life within the very intense energies of Light and Love now flooding our planet.

FOLLOWING OUR INDIVIDUAL ROAD MAP TO ASCENSION

       Life is eternal for the Soul—no beginning, no ending.  Many Souls choose to explore the various dimensions of life, rather than remain in the heavenly realms.  Those of us presently residing on Earth made that choice.  During our explorations, we made mistakes that require correction—karma that necessitates transmuting into positive energy.  In order for us to achieve ascension into the higher dimensions, these mistakes must be resolved on Earth plane.

As a result, when preparing for another physical incarnation, we and our spiritual mentors construct a Road Map to guide our Soul along its chosen path.  This Road Map also involves contracting with additional Souls to play particular roles in the forthcoming incarnation.  These Soul contracts are created to ensure that we accomplish the goals upon which we are basing our future physical plane life.

The first step in creating this Road Map is determining our goals regarding the lessons we want to learn, how we desire to transmute old mistakes/karma, and our ultimate mission.  Every Road Map is created for success—if we allow that success to unfold within our lives.  We are not permitted to take on more challenges than we can successfully overcome—if we choose to do so.  However, once we incarnate and find the challenges we chose for ourselves too difficult, we are always free to wait until the next incarnation or the next.  Life is eternal and we are free to take as long as we choose incarnating on the plane of duality.

The second step is selecting our future parents based on:  their willingness to play that parental role and their capacity to provide the type of early childhood experiences our Soul requires in order to learn our lessons, transmute our karma, and prepare for our Soul’s mission.  Many of us choose difficult childhoods as one means of accomplishing our ultimate Soul goal.  We contract with those future parents to play the needed roles.  Most often the roles the parents agree to play are also connected to their own Road Maps and to the goals they plan to achieve.  Life is an intimately woven tapestry of many colors.

The third step is choosing and contracting with the meaningful others with whom we will share some stage of our incarnation.  These persons will play the role of grandparent,   sibling, spouse, teacher/mentor, close friend, professional partner, and our own children.  The selected persons are located at the most beneficial points on our Road Map.  For example:  the spouse with whom we have contracted will appear in our lives at the appropriate time for us to gain the most benefit from the reunion.  (Remember our Soul knew he/she was coming.)

Here, we must recognize that the most benefit does not necessarily feel good.  Instead, that spouse is appearing at the appropriate time in order to fulfill the contract we created before incarnation.  At the point of meeting in the physical, we have the opportunity to decide whether or not our Souls continue to need the previously contracted experiences … we may have already matured past requiring the circumstances involved … we always have the freewill choice to break the contract.

This freewill choice to break the contract is available regarding all facets of our Road Map to Ascension.  For example:  Our Soul may incarnate via the selected parents only to realize that the desired environment does not exist.  The Soul has approximately two years from birth onto the physical plane to determine whether to stay or to leave.  The decision to leave is the basis for many early childhood so-called deaths.  That Soul may choose the same parents at a later stage and find the environment ripe for Soul growth.

The important factor to remember is that our Soul chooses physical incarnation for specific Soul growth purposes.  We did not incarnate on a whim … we are not accidents … we are not robots that require the same treatment for all.  Instead, this incarnation is filled with Soul meaning … our Soul rejoices when we successfully overcome a challenge … our Soul celebrates when we meet and recognize a major destination point on our Road Map.  On the other hand, our Soul cares little about the amount of money we earn or how high on the social ladder we climb.  Success is achieving Soul growth.

Most Souls utilize, often subconsciously, the first 28-30 years of incarnation to resolve many of the challenges on their Road Map.  Then, around this 1^st Saturn Return stage of life, our Road Map indicates a time to pause and reflect upon how we choose to live out the remainder of this incarnation.  This pause is usually highlighted on our Road Map by sudden changes, such as the desire to move, to change vocations, or the death of a loved one.  It can be a time of restlessness … a time of wanting to sweep the decks clean and start over.  For this reason, many who marry young divorce around the ages of 28 to 30 yrs.  Many decide the friends with whom they have heretofore associated are not compatible with the next stage on their Road Map.  It is a growth stage intended to result in significant change …a stage for personal evaluation in light of our Soul’s ultimate goal.

After the 1^st Saturn Return years, many follow their Road Map in a much more conscious manner.  We recognize that we desire our lives to count as making a difference in the world … that we are to be the Pilot of our lives, rather than allowing our selves to be tossed to and fro by those around us and by the world of events.  We seek self-empowerment, self-love, self-fulfillment.

Our planet is now quickly changing … we as a planet of people have the unprecedented opportunity to ascend—while in our physical bodies—to a higher dimension of consciousness.  This opportunity comes as Planet Earth prepares to ascend—to shed its former title of Prison Planet and become an Ascended Planet.  We, who are incarnated on Planet Earth may move forward with our Mother Earth if we so choose.  We, who have been imprisoned within the illusion of the plane of duality, may now ascend into the full consciousness that exists on the 5^th dimension.  Whereas now, we Earth humans use roughly 10% of our brain power, we may then ascend into usage of our full consciousness.

Evolving into full consciousness entails many new experiences.  The old, familiar world no longer works; it is collapsing and will be forgotten.  The challenges that have heretofore appeared to some as insurmountable will simply melt away.  In their place, a new Earth will emerge.  A new way of life will surprise us!

At the moment, we walk between two worlds.  Following our Road Map requires increased attentive focus on our intuitive insights.  If we listen to our Soul’s guidance, rather than to the ways of the collapsing world, we find walking our Road Map surprising, exciting, and constantly enlarging our conscious awareness.  We are becoming aware of other dimensions and how our Road Map interfaces with those higher planes of consciousness.  This newly emerging world requires some adjustment.

Whereas, heretofore, the majority of our relationships have involved varying degrees of karma, we are now meeting persons who belong to our Soul family.  These relationships feel pure, easy, and compatible.  Deep unconditional love characterizes Soul family.  The 5^th dimension is not hung up on love = sex of one form or another, as we Earth humans are.  All is unconditional love on the 5^th dimension.  As we meet our Soul family, we have to adjust to the love that is present regardless of the age or gender of that Soul family member.

Another adjustment required is learning to pay attention to synchronic symbols, persons, messages, gifts—however the message is relayed to us by Spirit.  Earth humans listen to what we can hear with our ears and see with our physical eyes.  We tend to ignore messages from our Soul … messages that are directing us according to our Road Map.  For example:  As a teenager, I knew intuitively that I was to attend college.  I heard with my physical ears when my father told me there was no money for college.  I saw with my physical eyes that the way to attend college was to be accepted and pay the tuition.  I heard my Soul instructing me to go to college.  Had I listened to the sounds and sights of the physical plane, I would not have attended college.  But, I chose to listen to the intuitive messages from my Soul.  I wrote the college of my choice and explained that I had no money, but wanted to attend college on faith.  I was accepted.  Now for the money.

My minister knew of my desire.  When a friend of his told him he wanted to send a student to college—all expenses paid—my minister gave him my name.  This dear man paid for my freshman year.  He not only paid my expenses, but would periodically send me extra money with a note that I might like to buy a gift for a friend.  His generosity illustrates well how Divine Order unfolds in our lives when we listen to our Soul, rather than to the world.  His sudden death also reminds us that our Road Map may not be dependent upon a single source to assist us in  achieving our Soul’s goals.  We must be flexible and not easily discouraged.

Another adjustment involves learning to stand alone, as an empowered individual.  Our 3^rd dimensional world teaches us to think and act in accordance with tribal folkways, beliefs, and acceptable behavior:  this is the way I am suppose to believe; this is the way I am suppose to act.  Failure to follow tribal beliefs and laws can mean excommunication.  Tribal can mean any group with which we choose to associate.

When we begin to walk between two worlds, we can feel incongruent within the familiar 3^rd dimensional world.  We begin to feel energies that the tribe does not feel or, at least, will not admit feeling.  We may be tagged as “losing it,” “touched,” or as “no longer credible professionally.”  The chains holding us within the status quo are heavy … many dare not attempt to step outside the tribal box.  Yet, the more the cosmic energies propel us toward ascension, the harder it is to pretend to be content in the tribal box.  As one friend recently phrased it:  We have been touched by Mother Father God Consciousness.  Ascension requires that we leave behind all that would hold us back.  Our Road Map was planned with this in mind.

Following our Road Map will alert us to the alternatives.  In 2011, it is probable that we have never dreamed of some of our alternatives because they do not presently exist in our visible world.  We tend to forget that our Soul, in conjunction with our spiritual mentors, planned for an entire incarnation.  This can mean that following our Road Map entails making one or more abrupt 90 degree turns … it can mean that we take action with one goal in mind and end up pursuing a very different one.

Life in 2011 is filled to overflowing with change.  We are evolving into an ascended being … we are creating a new Earth and moving forward within our Milky Way Galaxy.  The one facet of life on which we can absolutely depend is that our willingness to follow our individual Road Map to ascension will attract all that we need in order to do so.  Our task is to be alert … follow our intuitive guidance regardless of how incongruent it appears with physical plane reality … and to remember that we are evolving into the All Good.  Our Road Map does not mislead us … we simply must trust as we make our way around the curves.

Our Souls planned our individual Road Map to ensure our freewill opportunity to achieve ascension!  Godspeed to all!
