President Trump Participates in a Signing Event for an Executive Order Establishing the White House Opportunity and Revitalization Council

NOTE BY NANCY:  I am been deeply impressed by much that President Trump has done to help all Americans; but, tonight tears rolled down my cheeks.  As a former Social Welfare Worker in the inner cities of Charlotte and Winston-Salem, NC, I can say that never–in my 80 yrs of paying attention to political affairs, even as a child sitting and listening to the men of the small town of Peachland, NC, discuss politics–have I hear politicians in high office speak with such wisdom on “what people REALLY need.”  Tonight, I heard President Trump talk of what inner cities across this nation need to allow  their citizens to prosper!  Instead of penalizing the poor by actually holding them down with the restrictions placed upon them if they try to better themselves, President Trump talks and knows how to jump-start the poorer communities so that industries and small businesses will come to the inner city and stay.  Listen to the video!

All Americans, regardless of economic status, have a “friend who cares and understands their plight and what to do about it.”  The Social Workers Association worked for years in the 1960’s, attempting to get the welfare laws changed from holding recipients “down” when they tried to work and get on their feet … To … laws that  helped them “jump-start” their lives and rewarded their efforts to become independent.  President Trump knows how and just signed an Executive Order to ensure all have the opportunity to be successful!  Thank you, President Trump, from the bottom of my heart!
