NOTE BY NANCY: As I post speeches and articles about every segment of our society, it dawns on me that we so often think in terms of being loving as “separate from” safe neighborhoods and all that goes into making it safe. We tend to think in terms of LOVE applying to those dear to us and forget that every one of humanity deserves to be safe … that in providing that safety, we are actually spreading love. Thanks to our police forces for being on the front lines of supplying that safety! What would we do without you?!!
